Good morning sirs, would like to seek your advice, i have a 2011 montero sport v, current odo reading is 140T, lately napansin ko na gas consumption ko lumas to 7.7 km. wherein in the past 9.5 to 10 ( combination slex and city driving), i have had the egr cleaned, gumaang ang takbo pero the diesel consumption malakas pa din, ano po kaya problema at bakit nagkaganito? kailangan ba pa calibrate na ? thanks for any advice mga bossing

linisan mo rin yung suction control valve kasi yan ang responsible sa pagkontrol ng fuel pressure. kapag malinis, better ang fuel delivery. linisan din ang air filter at MAF sensor para maganda ang higop ng hangin, mas maraming mahigop na hangin mas efficient ang combustion. subukan mo magpalit ng air filter like K&N para mas maluwag higop ng hangin. ipa-blank mo din EGR mo, makakatulong din yan sa combustion kasi kapag mas malamig yung hangin na papasok sa intake manifold, mas efficient ang combustion. you might want also to install bigger intercooler para makatulong din na lalong mapalamig yung intake air bago pumasok sa intake manifold. since 140k kms na unit mo, malamang saturated na ng oil yung stock intercooler mo so hindi na rin niya mapalamig masyado yung intake air. kapag maganda ang higop ng hangin at mas malamig yung hangin na papasok sa manifold, mas maganda pagsunog ng krudo kaya mas tipid sa kunsumo

Finally got the sd card extension cable for the avt( gift ng brother ko sakin from china)para hindi bukas ng bukas ng instrumentation everytime may update. Sabay ko na din reverse cam para isang bukasan na lang ng panel. Kung mayroon sana mag papaupdate ng map, pasuyo na lang na i-video para makita ko how *to open up the panel. Meron na mga pics before kaso mas maganda kung may video sana. TIA

sir, ask ko lang po kung san yun link for opening the HU panel, for gps update. Just got sd card extension yesterday, plan to DIY this week end. thank you

Don't forget the fan belt, which sunny was able to notice at first glance. Napakingan lang din niya alam na ano problema.

Really felt the difference after your reccomendations. Looking forward to my next visit to have ball joints and timing belt changed.

honestly, i have not tried playing any dvd movies using the dvd player. but if it is any help, i play movies directly from my usb

if you are using the usb, try not to covert this to mpeg4 avi. if the extension file is still ".avi", it will not play. just convert it to mp4 ipod/apple tv. the extension file should be ".mp4"

i do the same. i convert all video formats to mp4 ipod, copy it to my usb and i can play this on the screen already from the usb

Anong usb brand and ilang gb gamit mo? Sakin kasi di kingston na 16gb di nababasa sa monty ko.

Mga sir, ask ko lang po, anu kaya yun possible na problem ng monty ko, may chirpping sound/parang kuliglig sa cold start up and pag on ang A/C, 37km yun odometer reading and regular naman yun PMS. Thank you

Same ng sa akin pero 60k na sa akin.. nagpalit ako ng aircon belt... pacheck mo na lang din ang bearing 2 pcs.. under warraty ka pa naman..

Hi, newbie here. I just purchased a 2nd hand 2011 GLS V, I too am experiencing the same chirping sound described above, the sound however, seems to be coming from the rear, any ideas?

Also, for the life of me, I cannot find the usb and 3.5mm aux input, is this suppose to be hidden somewhere or is it just that my model does not have this feature? (It does say in the lcd display that it supports ipod and usb though). TIA.

Unluckily, hindi pa din nawawala. Trial and error na lang siguro ang gagawin. Ko Try ko yung ball joint ang palitan kasi may nagsabi din sa akin na baka yun ang sira.

Open the glove box on the passenger side and look for the USB/Aux input.
