Yung sa akin naman, after replacing the SCV under warranty, di naman nilinis fuel tank. But the fuel filter was billed. Sa dumi ng diesel dito, I don't think it can last for 50k.Baka hanggang 10k pa nga eh. I remember that I changed fuel filter at 20k, then had problem with SCV at 25k...
I tried several times checking water content in my diesel tank with water paste finder coated in a rod which I dip inside the diesel tank, seldom I find trace of water, what I suspect about the poor spec of diesel here is the filterization process, the suspended sediments is like a very fine thread appearance which is difficult to detect by our naked eyes, this is the common sediments that clogged especially the diesel engine of a ship that's why periodic cleaning of filters is a must, I somewhat relate this to our persisting problem in our SCV.
Rgds.,

mga brad, FOR THE RECORD, i asked casa about this, specifically for GLX owners.
FOR THE RECORD, mine is GLX. as early as 2 months after my purchase, I got the stock 17" mags ng GLS Sport and Mickey Thompson ATZ, so lumaki na agad ang mags and tires ko... matatapos na ang warranty ko this december and FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES wala naging problema ang mga warranty claims ko. And as far as I know, wala din na-void na warranty ng other TSCP members under analogous circumstances, otherwise AKO MISMO as President of TSCP ang tatawag sa service manager nila to correct that mistake... you can quote me on that!
maraming salamat at pasensiya na. i just relayed actual information i got. nagtatawag talaga ako to get the record straight kse ngayon palang ako nagbabalak mag mods sa tires ko.
i know someone who has the pajero ck body, montero sport gls 4x4 3.2, and starda gls sport, all use the same 4m41 engine but i noticed that only pajero is still working with no problems at 20,000kms the mopntero sport had its scv changed at 10,000kms, the strada at 5,000kms is there a difference with the engines ar maybe the pajero has different parts from the MS and the strada??? what do you guys think??? the reason my friend got the MS and strada was he was basing it on his good experience in driving the pajero(engine wise)...
isn't it diamond valle verde is highly recommended whenit comes to servicing and pms of our stradas?? maybe bago yung SA???
sir anong model po ba yung CK na pajero? possible po kasing yan yung Di-D palang....wala pa po yung commonrail system...but if yan na yung may commonrail ang possibility naman at that time when the pajero was manufactured the diesel requirements are still low...maybe euro 3 to 4 palang...so if you detune it to euro 2 inde pa ganun kadrastic ang changes....unlike ngayun when the new 4m41 was launch.... sa ibang countries euro 4 and 5 na ang required compliance...mababa na ang euro 3...pano pa kaya tayong euro 2 lang...
now another theory para sakin...kung inde positive ang both facts that I mentioned....maaring mas magaling mag detune ang mga hapon kesa thai...![]()

(((IMO)))
Mitsubishi's assembly plant in Thailand also has an Engine Manufacturing Assembly- i posted pictures of that in the Mitsubishi Strada threads about 1 or 2 months back. And I'm quite positive that MMC Japan- perhaps in Okazaki (basta there are 2 majoy plants in Japan) produces the 4M41 for the Pajero/Montero- so i therefore conclude the the 4M41 is sourced in 2 different locations.
Yes, I haven't heard of the 4M41 equipped CK or even BK Pajeros having SCV issues. even those first batches of BK Pajero back in mid 2007 haven't had reported problems. I don't want to presume anything just yet but i think i would like to ask around/MMPC about this...
To anyone: please provide the SCV's part number of any current (Thailand) Strada/Montero Sport sourced 4M41 SCV... lets compare it with a (Japan) Pajero sourced one. Pati na rin yung (Thailand) 4D56. In case any of you might know about it, please fill in the blanks:
Thailand 4D56:
Thailand 4M41:
Japan 4M41:
this is what i was thinking talaga, ive never heard so far pa of the 4m41 equip pajero having the scv problems, maybe it's the supplier of the crdi and scv parts that are different form the pajero, strda and montero sport. somehow i have a hunch the pajero parts are sourced from japan or from a diffrent supplier.if this is trhe case, bad trip talaga when i assumed that all 4m41s are created equally.![]()
