2010 Mitsubishi Strada [continued]

Hello Everyone! I just joined. I was actually looking for this thread I read last month about the Strada 2010 that he was driving at the Skyway when something fell on his car. I cant recall if it was the bumper nor what happened to him after that. Anyway i have a month old strada. I was driving along SLEX this morning, just got up the Magallanes bridge when suddenly i heard something and then saw my panel alert the open door icon. My main door was now unlocked (maybe that was the sound I heard). I switched my hazard lights and parked along the busy bridge to check which door it was and if indeed it was an opened door because this is a security issue. I was surprised that it was my right passenger door. It was open when i pushed it a bit.
Have you experienced something akin to this? I informed my SA and was advised to bring my car to any Mitsubishi Service Center. What is more surprising is, this is supposedly a brand new car! I used to have a Mitsubishi Adventure and I never had this problem. I love my strada believe me but so far this is my complain-- a big security issue that reminded me of the Toyota scare.

I hope someone can give me an advise. HAHA kung pwede lang papalitan sana ng bago ulit!

same thing happend to me along c5 flyover. Bigla bumukas yun driver side door ko. Bigla kasi nagwarning sound na open yun door ko.

To all GLX owner with fender flares installed.. uhm, what measures ang mga ginawa ninyo para mag stick yung rubber sa body, if you know what i mean?. im afraid of using mightybond or d like kasi baka mag crack ang rubber.. please help.. im getting frustrated already T.T

Sa case ko, wala. Lapat na lapat naman yung rubber nung fender flare sa katawan nung Strada or baka di ko lang nabusisi masyado..

sir, ganung rin yung akin dati.. lapat na lapat pero since di ko na cinocover ang strada pag naka park sa bahay then naarawan.. i think it has something to do with rubber itself, nag eexpand yata kaya nag kaka ganun, kasi sa isang side ng unit ko. intact na intact parin.. im thinking of coating it with silicone or maybe change it to silicone nalang..
may nakapag try na kaya dito nyan?. hehe

sad to hear that sir.. but Actuator.. ito po ba yung part ng alarm na dapat nag lolock?.
uhm, i have a problem also with the alarm. sa rear cab right side door. kahit anong hampas ko. ayaw tumunog..

to all.. pwede ba i 39 psi ang 265/65 r17 na hindi puputok? according kasi sa website ng bridgestone 44psi ang max.. but to have the best fc less 10% raw sa max psi.. and sa nakasulat naman sa door ng montero. i think 32 front 35 back.. im confuse..

It is best to follow the recommended tire pressure of the vehicle. High psi may give you better fuel consumption but your braking and handling will not be optimal.

Bakit kaya ang tagal ng deliveries ng Strada ngayon (specifically yung GLS Sport)? Manggagaling pa daw ng Thailand yung order ng friend ko so we'll have to wait for two more weeks.
