August 3rd, 2014 12:59 AM #4632Sa strada, mas mapapansin naka on ang headlight at aircon, yung blower speed humihina/lumalakas. Sa monty, ilaw pa lan, humihina, lumalakas. I forgot to mention, one of my observations is that sa strada m/t at least, mas mataas ang idling rpm setting 650-700rpm while monty a/t's idling setting is lower 600-650 rpm. Nirequest ko kung pwede nila pataasan ang idling setting sa monty, maski by 50rpm lan, di daw pwede. Yung computer nila has no capability to adjust rpm, factory set daw.

both of them have same purpose, personal preference na lang kung baga. but I like the lift block personally since no moving parts kaya less prone to breakdown(I'm planning to get one soon). Manolo has been fabricating and installing lifts for a long time kaya safe ka dun and kabisado nya rig natin. Di lang lift yung gina gawa nya, he also fabricates steel bumpers, roof rails and rock sliders. Also quick lifts are basic mods only. If you have average DIY skill, you can even install it by your self, provided you have a few mechanical and hydraulic jacks at your disposal

Note: di po ako mekaniko, pero sa akin lang, parang normal naman.
Doesn't the alternator's output voltage vary with engine rpm, to a certain degree? From your observation, the alternator's voltage vary from 12.5V to 14V. It appears that the alternator will still charge the battery since the lowest voltage you monitored was 12.5 (they say batteries are actually rated at 12.4V). Isn't it possible that Mitsubishi's alternator output voltage were allowed by design (ECU controlled regulator?) to vary that much without the prime mover (engine) kicking in to compensate yet? When the demand of the load (power accessories) increases, causing voltage to drop below 12.5V that's when the engine rpm automatically increases to compensate. Perhaps other car brands' voltage regulation have a narrower tolerance.
When you accelerate from a stop, engine rpm increases and as a consequence, so does alternator output voltage. Di kaya?
Also it's possible our car's power accessories are simply high powered or less efficient, not to mention incurring power lost in the wiring and diodes.Last edited by CtrlAltDel; August 3rd, 2014 at 08:37 PM.

You can go up 3" sa body lift. Some use 2" bodylift+2"suspension lift. But be careful, most 4x4 experts do not advice body lifts more than 2" especially on manual 4x4 tranny. The angle of the tailshaft is not as straight as the stock angles anymore and the result is vibration upon take off and too much stress on the center bearing. IMO if you want more than 2" lift, better go w/ the suspension lift rather than a body lift. Mahal nga lang.

Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
