I'm about to pull the trigger on a Xenon headlight retrofit. Should I wait for my 1,000 km PMS (I'm at 700 km now after about a month) or you don't think I will have a problem with the casa? Thanks.

Mas ok kung tapusin mo muna yung 1kPMS, pero ganun pa man, void ang electrical warranty pag nakaroon ng trouble at ma-trace na yung HL retrofit mo ang cause.

Yep. Advantage sa kanya kasi me mga guide na dun that matches his etacs model/code. There's a passcode needed for you to make changes sa etacs. (Yun nakapost dun invalid for my etacs-so far). The software itself runs perfectly on xp w/o antivirus. Buti I have a spare old lappy that I can use - mahirap patakbuhin yun software nya on virtual machine (xp under win7).

Softwares that came with the cable:
1. Lexia 3 (Citroen diagnostic program)
2. PP - Peugeot planet
3. Diagbox
* me mga activation/hack procedures to do pa and program updates.

Yun intermittent settings ng wiper sa likod customizable din, by default 8secs yun interval.

Nagiipon pako ng research data ko and post ko dun sa intl forum and somebody might help - but have to finish backreading pa sa 3yr discussion nila. ... hehe.

When perfected, i'll update here and share the service/knowledge...

P.S.
I was reading the million-page manual and discovered that you can customize unlocking (just the driver door instead of all doors) when using the remote. While in the driver's seat, make sure the car is in OFF mode, then open the door; press and hold the lock on the remote for ~4 seconds, then press unlock; Release lock button, then release unlock button. One chime means all doors and the tailgate unlock when you press the remote's unlock button. Two chimes mean only the driver door unlocks.

Hehehe. At kung gusto mo i-unlock lahat nang doors, pindutin mo lang 'yung unlock button nang dalawang beses. Eto pa pala, pwede palang palitan 'yung fuel consumption to km/liter imbes na liters/100 km from the settings menu. Before, panay ang compute ko sa isip para makuha ang km/liter. Hehe.

And did you know that you can change the sound of the turn-signal lever? Mas gusto ko nga lang 'yung default.

May paraan kaya patunugin 'yung horn during locking/unlocking? Parang wala sa manual, pero sa Outlander yata pwede 'yun.

Yun iba naman wala mismo yun 'hardware' that controls a particular feature. Although makikita mo sa diagnostic software me abang - not present or "absent" ang naka display.

hindi ba nakakatakot pakialaman ETACS?hehehe...nakakainis din kasi minsan mga technician sa casa, hindi sila nagreresearch or nag eexplore sa mga products nila para ikatuwa ng mga bumibili ng sasakyan nila...by this time dapat alam na nila kung paano magmodify ng ETACS safely.. minsan nga tinanong ko yung technician sa casa di alam kung ano DRL...

re: technicians, nasa management din yun pag push/educate sa kanila. Majority naman sa kanila hindi tech-savvy peeps or resourceful.
On the management side naman, you can't blame them if they don't spend much on personnel development kasi of fear na kapag magaling na,iiwanan sila or mapirata.

Yung auto mode ng air recirculation (air selection) ok din na I-disable, para aware ka sa pagpasok ng outside air.

Unlike pag naka-auto, hindi mo alam kung kailan mai-stable ang temperature para sa opening at closing ng recirculation.
