Mga boss may question ako.. Ano kayang problema nung Lancer EX 1.6 GLX MT ko? May times kasi na ang hirap ipasok sa first gear and 2nd gear. Madalas mangyari ito pag hindi full stop (sobrang bagal na, kunwari daan ng humps) then down shift sa first or second gear ang hirap ipasok. May time pa nga na kelangan ko talagang mag full stop para pumasok sa first gear. Minsan din sa umaga ganun din pero pag matagal na i-drive medyo ok na pero mabigat pa din or minsan parang may lubak (hindi smooth yung shifting).. Wala namn grinding noise matigas lng talaga ipasok sa gear.. Nagpalit na ako ng gear oil and brake/clutch fluid pero ganun pa din. Nag try din ako pa check sa casa pero sabi nung SA ayos namn daw clutch system ko saka yung shifter cables at wala daw sya maiisip na ibang cause. Advise namn mga boss kung ano pa pede kong pa check/gawin natatakot ksi ako na baka pag tumagal masira yung transmission or ibang parts na mas mahal hehe. Salamat!!

2017 is almost over, why settle for 2016 model?

Just what like ninjababez said. But, try revving it to match your speed. Should be smoother getting in the desired gear.

I tried rev match before boss, thinking that I was not properly matching the engine's speed when doing down shifts but what happened was, when I blip the throttle, the gear did not go into 2nd gear (I was on 3rd gear) . Kelangan ko pa ibalik sa nuetral para pumasok hehe. Pero bago mangyari yung issue ko na to swabe ang rev match down shift from 3rd to 2nd gear. Then may times namn na okay sya pag may toyo dun matigas ipasok minsan di pumapasok

Ah may gear lock out pala hehe, thanks sa info sir! So normal lang pala yun sa firs gear hehe. pero bat ganun first 2 years saken nito pumapasok naman sya sa first gear khit umaandar pa na kaunti (yung tipong usad pagong. yung speedometer eh 0 pero na-andar pa ng kaunti) ngaun lang nagkaganito.. at may times din di sya matigas at sobrang smooth? Possible na may wear out at kelangan na palitan na pyesa kaya sir?

Yun lang kaya ng budget namin, wala naman din daw difference ang 2016 and 2017 except for facelift.

despite it being a dead-end model, marami pa ring bumibili.
i am almost tempted to get one, myself.
the market choices today are so plentiful, it is so confusing.

i like that word, "depende sa".
it helps absolve them of their... in-accuracies.

my personal advice to myself is, "don't rush. and don't believe their sales talk, until the keys are in your hand".

Hello mga tsikoteers! I am new lang po hehe so pls bear with me. So eto na nga, next yr. I have plans on buying 2nd hand ex after i graduate pero I have so much combination of some factors in mind. Well first I want an ex that is so much engaging to drive which would be manual, also I want it to be in such average fc not high not low but just average.

With that said I am leaning to lancer ex 2.0 gt, but since that gt variant is phased out, may makikita pa kaya ako neto? And if so is the gt worth it. Or will the gta do the trick on the factors mentioned above well siguro in this case not manual pero andun parin yung enjoyment ng driving?

Pa check mu gear synchronizer. Baka needs new set.

hi, bago lang ako dito tapos gusto ko lang malaman kung worth it ba mag change ng stock rotors to either big brake kit or same size ng stock rotors pero naka ventilated at crossdrilled rotors lang para sa 1.6 EX ko :D

Hi, meron kapang makikita po na mga 2.0 GT na for sale ngayon hehe. At for me, mas maganda naman kapag 2.0 GT kunin mo kesa 2.0 na GT-A. Mas maka enjoy ka sa manual na 2.0. Tapos regarding ng FC nasa average naman ang 2.0 na GT.
