ano nga pala lagay ninyong diesel sa Pajero ninyo? regular diesel lang?

kasi nababasa ko sa montero sport thread na iba iba lagay nila eh....although a lot of them prefer seaoil dahil euro 3 compliant yung diesel nila

ac buy h9 pag bibili ka for fogs. higher watts siya compared sa 55 watts ng h11. may ifile ka lang sa h9 para mag fit.

mahirap din yun baka kailanganin yun halogen like sa ulan or asphalt since white yun low beam nya kaya baka yun fogs na lang palitan ko.. huwag lang mawawala warranty...hehe

HID's need time to reach their full power because its a gas arc lighting... sa halogen once nag on, full power agad.. thats why stock setting is low beam is HID on projectors while high beam remains a halogen...

its a must that the bright beam is a halogen for safety and signaling purposes, plus white light is not as visible or readily perceived by the human eye, unlike yellowish light... our eyes are designed to see better and farther with 4300K of light temperature.. anything higher than that is a waste and is not safe.

Promdiboy, ah ok....thanks ha..... actually the 1st time na nag fill up ako yung regular diesel lang pinakarga ko.... medyo naguguluhan lang kasi ako nung binasa ko yung Montero Sport thread na hindi alam ng mga service advisers kung regular or premium diesel ang ilalagay. yung ibang owners naman, prefer nila unioil, seaoil compared sa big 3 dahil euro 3 or euro 4 daw yung smaller players.... thanks din sa tip regarding HID

AC your post reminded me about my previous SUV sa USA. may 2009 Acura MDX kasi ako dati. nung lumampas na sa 6 months yung preventive maintainance reminder, biglang nag appear ang 200 miles tapos nag count down to zero yung odometer. nakasulat na pag naging zero yung countdown, the manufacturer has the right to void the engine warranty. bigla tuloy akong nagpa PMS hehehe

Miko, thanks ha. malamang parklight na lang convert ko to white light.

kaka akyat lang namin sa Baguio today. ok lang ang power, sufficient naman. yung manumatic transmission ginamit ko. pansin ko kasi pag nakalagay sa Drive yung automatic transmission tapos paakyat ako sa mall parking, palaging nag shi-shift to 2nd gear agad from 1st gear kaya nagje-jerk yung Pajero.

maporma kasi ang white light... pero ang HID maximum color that is usabale is 5000k... kung naka projectors ka panalo ang HID.. no glare and light is projected where its needed..

sa fogs pwede naman i-HID kasi short distance vision lang naman purpose...the best pa rin sa fogs and yellowish light, gives you the BEST CONTRAST.... but not too yellow para hindi mag-focus and eyes sa short distance vision at around 10 meters which is not good..

there are a lot of good bulbs na halogen out there... osram nightbreakers/ philips xtreme vision/ narva range power/ rally type 100watts, PIAA bulbs(pricey)....

in my opinion, the best combination of porma and function is projector headlights with 4300k bulb with 55 watts HID, then sa fogs ay either PIAA, IPF, Bosch with a good bulb... gagastos ka nga lang but its the best of both worlds...

actually ganyan set-up ko sa gen 3 ko na pajero... paunti unti lang na kamot sa gastos... good long range visibility and good short distance lighting....

pag nag HID ka sa reflector type na housing sigurado sasabog lang light output.. lalong hihina, pero maporma... kung naka tint ka nakooo.. lalong hindi makakatulong...hehehe...

btw may fake na ngayon... sa thailand ang k&n... meron nadin saatin mga fake k&ns... pero.. nakikita ko palang na mga fake ay cone type.. i wonder if they are gauze din or paper lang like simota.. hehe

hi sir AC, actually nag bakasyon kami sa north kaya biglang tumaas mileage. ang totoo nyan, hindi ako madalas gumamit ng kotse. i actually prefer to take LRT/MRT kung magisa ako at papunta sa office. pero kung kasama pamilya, nagda-drive ako.

Oo magsi-synthetic ako. i called up the Peak motors kanina, void daw warranty kapag ibang synthetic oil ilalagay. i guess no choice ako. bukas na ako magpapa 1,000 km pms.
