Good day mga experts! Nag-aalarm lang kung binubuksan yung door while nakadeploy alarm. i tried adjusting the sensitivity of the shock sensor pero wala pa din desired effect. Eto po pic ng shock sensor: [/IMG]

located siya directly under the dashboard driver's side and directly above the brake pedal. May supposed LED light din sa may shock sensor, red and green, pero none of them lights up kahit naka-deploy na. Help please...

not sure about MMAS, pero yung sa Toyota kasi, central lock lang ang stock security system nila hehe kaya hindi rin tumutunog.

Maybe its time to ditch it. I think, alarms, when they start failing is irrepairable. Most are disposable.

Give this a try... have it checked by Winterpine since i believe they are the local providers for the Adventure's MMAS. Try searching for their address by backreading the Strada or Adventure threads for info. You can also get in touch with your dealer- i think the MMAS may have its own warranty considering you got the 2010 model. HTH.

the alarm of advie 2010 is no good. my sister bought an advie 2010 last week their car was bulgarized and sad to say the alarm did not work since the bad people enter using the windows. add to the misfortune the mitsubishi people said that they don't have stock for the window and they have to pay for 4,500 as participation in the insurance claim. so what my sister did was she bought a replacement glass at aguila glass supply it only took them half day to install and only cost 1,800. today my sister install a new alarm system.

Amen to that, the MMAS for the advie '10 seems good only for keyless entry and annoying carwash boys. I tried to nudge the bumper and even kick the wheel but no sound came from the alarm. I hope my insensitive alarm only has a minor glitch. Otherwise, the predicament of voiding my electrical warranty by installing a new alarm system will come into the picture. Advie GLS Sport '10 owners, please check the sensitivity of your alarm systems as well so we can compare notes and feedbacks. Thanks!

your right sir, the alarm will only function if we open the door. In fact we went back to our dealer and demonstrate to them that kicking and nagging the advie won't trigger the alarm. they where all surprise that they them self kick the tire the display unit in the showroom but to no avail the alarm did not sound. About the advie of my sister being burglarized, she was not alone on that day, their where other cars (8 SUV and AUV) which was also a victim and guess what, this people knows that by using the windows the alarm won't sound.

Nanibago nga ako dito sa advie kasi my past cars had adequate alarm responses, puro aftermarket installation nga lang, di tulad ngayon na ang alarm e stock MMAS pa which is supposed to be better.

Seems like you need aftermarket alarm na nga ang kelangan.

Binago kaya nila ang alarm for the '10 model?

sir.
Pagnakavalet mode lock and unlock lang nagumagana...
    try this.
1.Turn the ignition to the "ON" position
    2. Toggle the valet switch "OFF"( valet switch is located under the dash, left panel deside the hood release)
3.the status indicator will be "OFF"
    4.Turn the ignition "OFF"

    Hi Guys! New member po.
New owner din ng 2010 Adventure GLS Sport. wala pang 2 weeks.
I got same problem with marcdom88. I already tried turning off the valet mode pero ganun pa rin.
I guess mitsubishi na ang kelangan dito or kung saan man ang warranty ng MMAS.

Sir Tzu794, di po siya naka-valet mode. i even tried to re-program the alarm as instructed under the manual. Naikwento ko problem sa brother ko and he said na ganun din daw stock alarm ng Isuzu Dmax niya (LS '09). Virtually walang kwenta. He he..

Di ko pa pinapatingin sa dealer about the alarm, kinda lost confidence sa reliability nila, imagine, mag-ti-three months na sa akin advie wala pa issued LTO sticker (either di pa daw pumupunta LTO liaison officer nila or wala pa daw stock) though may plate na; pati insured's copy ng insurance ko wala pa til now....Teka, OT na, sorry. Whining na...

Please see the first thread po. Andu'n pic and location ng shock sensor. I tried adjusting the sensitivity level before, wala pa din. Safety precautions na lang ako as to where to park and what item would be left in the car.
