I know the US is not the safest country to move to. Andyan ang New Zealand, Canada etc.... pero it's the most fun and Cars are cheaper there!

not really... i might go to another country and work for a couple of years, just enough to save money for my children's education and start up a small business then i'd go back here in the philippines. mas masaya kasi dito kahit na sobrang depress na ng country natin with all of its problems.

if i have the chance to migrate, i'd choose, Japan, hehehheheh.

kidding aside, i'd rather stay here sa Philippines kahit mahirap yung buhay. IMO, mas masaya dito.

I've been here in the US since I was 15. Hinihintay ko lang makatapos mga anak ko sa school then move back to PI when I retire. We were in PI last month and I brought the kids for the first time. They loved it kasi marami silang kalaro ayaw nga bumalik dito sa US. BTW, my kids are only 5 and 7 yrs. old.

I find it sad that we are losing hope. Is it our fault? Is it the government's fault?

I have to admit lately I am feeling the same. I used to say I wouldn't leave and I would stick it out. But here I am with a visa just waiting for the right time to leave. But I am hoping I would just go there for work and come back after a while. Many people say once you've tasted the life there you wouldn't want to come back. One other couple said after five years everything becomes boring, unless you want to get really rich.

We just did, we've been here in NZ for little over 2 years now. All I can say is, it's not easy, big adjustment has to be made especially when your family had a comfortable life in Pinas, laking adjustment sa work, lifestyle, food (mahal gulay dito), etc. We decided to give it a try for the sake of our kids, otherwise we would have stayed.

I can still go home at 2am na naglalakad lang.

    Kaya i can compare...
