for most cars, this should be an easy DIY.

in well-educated stores, one only has to mention the car model, for the correct bulb to be given. probably because the same bulb type is used in a great many car models.

in a number of times where i got a "broken bulb", cleaning the contacts fixed the problem.

It is busted doc. Will buy a bulb later, will DIY it too.

ah yess... the un-debate-able black sign.

i ask for a more expensive brand than the base model bulbs.
in my experience, they last longer.

i buy two, and keep the spare in a small box of spare bulbs that i keep in the car.
that way, i can easily replace a busted bulb, anywhere.

i don't remember the price. but it's famous name brand (famous, to car DIYers).
cheep lang. less than 100 bucks for a pair.
i just tell the counter guy, "wag yung murang china.", and he hands me the branded one.
