If you have a temporary plate number, that assumes that the vehicle is already registered. I don't think you can get an official temporary plate number without going to lto. I'm not talking of those diy laminated ones here. So yes, drive away

What I meant about the temporary plate this is the plate issued by CASA upon release of the vehicle bearing the plate conduction number they call it temporary plate and some call it a vanity plate. Is this a valid plate?

No CR and OR yet just a temporary plate issued by casa upon release of the vehicle bearing the conduction number on the plate this is what the agent told me you can use this one with sales invoice pending CR and OR release.

it's not a vanity plate, either.
it's the conduction sticker, in plate form. ***
so yes, you are prone to flag-down.
it suggests that you may not have the ORCR yet.

the multiple date sales invoice... basically, it's illegal.
also, how can you insist it's only x weeks old, when the temporary plate is already faded and cracked?

*** addendum: the lto has defined temporary plate, to include one with the conduction sticker on it, while waiting for the real plate number.

yung iba naman kasi, conduction plate is interchanged regularly with real plate number, depending on coding day.

But then again, it's really base to base casis (case to case basis ;) ) that is - if the enforcer who sees you is strict. Let's face it. There really are those who don't follow.

Hi Doc, yes that is what the agent told me.... so Sales Invoice and a temporary plate bearing the conduction number I can go on public road using that. The moment the O.R. and C.R. is release that's the time I have to switch to an LTO license plate or a temporary plate bearing the assigned plate number that the agent will refer me to outside supplier who can do that.

That's nice to hear hope they can extend it until chinese new year because the vehicle will be release to me early January and not this December hehe

there was a time, we would wait (half an hour only or less) at the LTO, for our new-car ORCR...
