This no parking trend & clamping is getting to be really annoying. While I understand the need in the metropolis (think Makati, Manila, QC etc...), small towns like Carmona, GMA & Congressional Rd. in Dasmariñas are implementing it even though the area is hardly what you’d call congested. It must have an impact on the businesses there since most don’t have parking provisions for their patrons & the cities don’t provide parking areas. In Congressional rd, there are service roads separated by an island from the main road, but you can get clamped kung mamalasin ka.

BF Homes Paranaque has a similar policy against cars parked along the main roads (Aguirre, Tropical, etc). It is a costly mistake for visitors since most residents know it’s a 3k fine to release those clamps.

I can understand BF because the nightlife becomes a headache for the residents. But for small towns with hardly any congestion to do it, seems like they just want to profit from the penalties.

noon naman OK lang since wala nag block ng driveway or wala nag park sa panglawang lane.

Sana sa min may towing din. The main road is a two way street with 1 lane each. Size of each lane is about 1 and a half car. Kaso mga nagpa park eh both sides. Kaya isang lane natitira sa gitna. Hindi naman congested kasi we are not very populated yet. Pero abala pa rin. One direction have to stop and wait hanggang maka raan ang opposite direction. Ano ba naman yung nakita mo may naka Park na sa kabila eh humilera ka na lang sa likod then tumawid ka na lang. Konting consideration lang.

i have been doing this intentional mis-spelling of that word, for some time now. an offshoot of "brakes-not-breaks" mis-spelling.
you are the first to comment.
i want to assume, that you are not the first to notice.

I wanted to comment on it as well Doc. Just didn't want to be thought of as a grammar Nazi. [emoji16]

I'm thinking about how my son, my youngest, is turning 3 very soon and how I can't wait until he's old enough to learn to drive. A bonding moment I never had with my own father. [emoji3525]
