i can't seem to download the full text of QC's ordinance.
but from the short version that i was able to read,
all it forbids is, discrimination.

now, i don't see how this can be applied to the janitress and gretchen scenario.
if there was discrimination, what was the discrimination about? XX is XX and XY is XY.
i believe, whoever framed that law, obviously did not have this scenario in mind.

clearly, science and technology are challenging society, to improve" their views on life.

but if the issue is how gretch was manhandled... that's... different... from discrimination.

What a conundrum for these LGBT people -- specifically those gays -- Real Men don't want them in their side of the bathroom. The same goes for Real Women -- they don't want them also on their side of the bathroom. So where to put them? But I agree this incident has been blown out of proportion.

They can use the PWD exclusive bathrooms to LGBT as well.

We are still a democracy afterall. Majority wins. Hehehe

But it's not really blind or self-centered view but just respect also for what the majority wants and like I said not playing the discrimated game all the time as if they are the one's that the majority must conform to, rather than the other way around.

But yes, the janitress should have handled it better by not being confrontational.

Siguro ayaw din nila na gawan sila ng sariling restroom? Dapat yun batas ganun na lang sa PWD di na rin sila since private and exclusive yun

Exactly...Huwag na kasi ipilit yun gusto nila. Kahit anong gawin iba talaga eh. Tingnan ninyo yun si Roman mayaman pero lalake pa rin eh kahit trans na.

what i envision, is the wheelchair-borne person he/she meets when exiting the pwd room...
"kanina pako naghihintay dito... ikaw lang pala... bat ka nandito! bat mo ginagamit CR namin! ang ganda-ganda/maskulado pa naman legs mo...!"
