Bakit malaking issue yun trans na pinalabas ng CR ng janitress? Dami nanaman sumasakay, yun trans na Congressman sinigawan pa janitress instead na educate niya about the issue.

Saka bakit puro rights ng trans iniisip nila eh paano yun mga straight na Hinde comfortable na meron Trans sila kasabay sa restroom?

Bakit ayaw ba kasi nanaman ng mga trans or LGBT group na gumawa na lang ng sariling CR for them or doon na lang sila sa PWD na restroom

while the one person feels he/she should be allowed in the ladies' room,
what about the other ladies, who would feel uncomfortable if he/she used the ladies' room.

I am with you on that one doc. Just because they are the minority, they can't always use the deprived/discriminated card. Other persons, as you have said, might not be comfortable with such a set-up.

Aware kasi yung trans sa ordinansa sa QC kaya for "her" okay lang gamitin yung cr ng babae kasi nasa QC siya.

Aside from being handled like a shoplifter, may assault and verbal abuse kasi yung janitress. This could have been handled better. Hindi porque bading siya pwede mo na siya insultuhin, ipahiya at saktan.

i can't seem to download the full text of QC's ordinance.
but from the short version that i was able to read,
all it forbids is, discrimination.

now, i don't see how this can be applied to the janitress and gretchen scenario.
if there was discrimination, what was the discrimination about? XX is XX and XY is XY.
i believe, whoever framed that law, obviously did not have this scenario in mind.

What a conundrum for these LGBT people -- specifically those gays -- Real Men don't want them in their side of the bathroom. The same goes for Real Women -- they don't want them also on their side of the bathroom. So where to put them? But I agree this incident has been blown out of proportion.

We are still a democracy afterall. Majority wins. Hehehe

But it's not really blind or self-centered view but just respect also for what the majority wants and like I said not playing the discrimated game all the time as if they are the one's that the majority must conform to, rather than the other way around.

But yes, the janitress should have handled it better by not being confrontational.

what i envision, is the wheelchair-borne person he/she meets when exiting the pwd room...
"kanina pako naghihintay dito... ikaw lang pala... bat ka nandito! bat mo ginagamit CR namin! ang ganda-ganda/maskulado pa naman legs mo...!"
