Unicorn = mythical or legendary creature, doesn't seem to exist.

Although when googling the meaning of "unicorn" insofar as dating or relationships, it means someone who is polyamorous or bis3xual.

I think, as far as the context Cathy uses it, "unicorn friend" means someone who is considered as a rare catch because of beauty, wealth, intelligence, etc.

SOBRA. First niya lahat with the guy. He came at the right time. Physically, he is opposite of what Unicorn friend wants but it's a good thing looks are not a factor for her.

Petite, porcelain white skin, short black hair, perfect teeth. Basta quintessential cute girl next door. But her being unicorn goes beyond looks.

NBSB before her fiance, intelligent, financially stable, good values, strong and independent BUT nurturing. Yung last ang matindi. My unicorn friend is panganay and she practically takes care of everyone. Kahit ako I depend on her A LOT. Kaya parang mababaliw ako because I know once she gets married and moves to Ortigas, things will change. Napaka maalaga niyan. Little things, when I have a hair out of place aayusin niya, my dress does not fall perfectly i adjust niya. Just imagine gano ka nurturing yan sa BF niya?
