That 10.4k daw includes 70% food and house rent, electricity, pamasahe, water bill for the 30% for a family of 5. I bet who ever came up with this earns 5 times this figure.

Whoever comes up with these numbers should be made to live a few months with those same numbers, if only to prove their estimates. Living in a rented room in Metro Manila, btw. My hunch is they'll start stealing food from their office pantries.



Same goes for whoever came up with those new coin designs. They should receive their salary in those exact same coins to prove they're not an inconvenience compared to the old ones.
