It is best to get RFID for a better experience. The lines on the Cash lane can be bad sometimes.

In the wee hours, SLEX is a breeze to drive. You may want to avoid the trucks on the middle lane so make sure to pass them.

+1 on the RFID. YOu can apply sa shell / magallanes station.

Same as what dreamur stated and make sure to flash your signal light when changing lanes. Stay in the middle lane if you’re just doing around 80 kmh. Don’t be afraid to pass another car, the quicker the better. You can’t wait all day long for a lazy person doing just 60 kmh on the middle or left lanes.

In any expressway, the leftmost lane is the fast lane. After Alabang, SLEX widens to 4 lanes (even 5 including exits) so you have more lanes to use. However, there are still a bunch of slow drivers hogging the leftmost lanes.

Sad to say, marami pa rin na wala pakialam whatsoever about road courtesy on expressways. Some are just plain lazy or oblivious to the traffic that they are obstructing traffic by hogging the left lane at slow speeds.

Even worse, may iba dyan na mali pa tinuturo sa mga anak or kamag-anak or kakilala paano mag drive sa expressway.

Maybe name the right lane "relaxed lane" then. I'd vote for takbong pogi but am sure the government wouldn't approve.

Better than nothing bro. At some point drivers should eventually get it. It isn't exactly common knowledge kasi. Best to have constant reminders.

I could police the SLEX for left lane hoggers. All SMC has to do is give me a Chevy Impala.
