how much do you spend every month?
your assets need to generate at least the same amount so you don't need to go to work and don't have to change your lifestyle
but of course you'd want your assets to generate more para may ipon

I can only think of 2 things.
First, contentment really is THE key.
Second, life on Earth is temporary, so i say quit that job, spend time with your fam, do what you love and raise your middle finger to the corporate world.![]()

Have you considered flipping properties for income? Not exactly retired life but not a rat race either. That's something I've always dreamt of doing but will probably never have the chance to as I'm not that liquid.
With your current income it would probably take several sizable premium commercial properties to generate the same amount.
You all make good points!
Contentment is the key. But i also dont want to be a lazy bum living of my rent and other investments.....
I thought about flipping properties but the replacement cost is very high...... though i am trying it in 1 of my properties. Walang kumakagat so far.

Ang hirap kasi ive been trained to be a capitalist all my working life. A mindless capitalist lemming.....

We all need to adapt to changes naman. Besides, you'll be adapting din when you retire. Why not now? While you still dread your job. hehe at least you instantly gratified yourself.
"F*** IT! I QUIT!" - sarap siguro sa feeling isigaw yun. But don't mind me, kunsintidor kasi ako.
The ideal passive income for me is one that let's me live my lifestyle and still generate savings for additional passive income.
ganito EQ...But i also dont want to be a lazy bum living of my rent and other investments.....
you have rental income from properties
that doesn't mean you should just stay home all day
you'd get bored
open a business (that's why they call it busy-ness)
the purpose of the business is so you have something to do everyday
not rely on it to put food on the table coz you got other sources of income that does that for you
since you like cars you can open a car tuning shop
and since you know lots of people with the same interest, you already have potential customers
the business doesn't have to be highly profitable
as long as you make enough to cover cost it's ok
the fun in that is you get to talk with car guys everyday
treat the business as a hobby
Only started renting out recently as the properties i invested in are starting to be turned over. I have 1 tenant now paying 6 figures a month. Hopefully can rent out the others soon as well. I have one whos going rent is 250k a month but that is for turnover pa in october. And it takes time to fit out and find a tenant.

You read my mind. Been trying to do this but i need commercial property which i dont have. If i rent...then am just working for the landlord. Another form of corporate slavery which am trying to get away from. But thats my dream retirement business.

If you are waiting for a sign whether to pursue your dream or not, take this as the sign.
GO DO IT BRO!
cool
imagine a shop with sparkling clean floors
a couple of lifters, a dyno...
an airconditioned office with tinted windows, big TV, ref, couch
friends bring their cars
tambay sa office, order food...
it's like a clubhouse
kids hang at the office when there's no school
pa-easy easy lang
everyday
sarap
