True, back then I was required by my dad to help him in our business after school, Saturday and Sunday nasa store ako, nagbubuhat, nag iimpake, manning the store while he goes out and play mahjong with his barkada, elementary pa lang ako I was already know a thing or two about business hahaha.

The kids grew up with their grandparents while we work abroad, that's the part I'm not proud of as a father kasi wala ako almost half of their life, hard times calls for a very tough decision, I always talk to the kids and let them understand, hopefully they will when they have a family of their own.

    Pretty sure they will.
Like your kids laking grandparent din ako for sometime. I dont think it is a big of an issue na palaging wala ang parent as long as may communication parin.

Kids these days just need to broaden up their perspective since masyadong abala sa social media karamihan.

Even ata may baril din ako I doubt mababaril ko yun, unless sa loob na mismo siya ng bahay pumasok.

Manila kami bro, lesson learned. Masyado din kasi kami nakampante. First time ito nangyari samin.

Maulan kasi nung weekends until monday diba? Nataon coast is clear.

but today, i don't think it will matter at all. sa totoo lang, sobra sobra na nga ngayon, e.

    if i remember right,
there was this rotc-related issue in ust, as a result of which someone died.

also, at that time, "some of our leaders decided it had outlived its usefulness."

personally, i had always thought it was a mistake to abolish rotc as a requirement. i believe rotc built men from boys.

Tama ka Doc, it really built men from boys, inabutan ko pa YDT and then CAT and nung college ay ROTC.

Daming takot sa cat at rotc. Pero di nila alam, madali lang naman. Tayo ka straight. Keep your belt and shoes shiny, wag pahaba nang buhok muna and that's it.

Let's take rotc a step further and do what sokor is doing. Mandatory military service for men. Doesn't matter if you're a k-pop idol, you do it.

^ agree w/ this. those innate aggressiveness of our youth would be put to good use.

btw, i actually looked forward to rotc saturdays back then because it gave me an excuse to leave the house and return back home late at night.
