It happened for Singapore and more relatably, South Korea. But it needs decades of continued good governance and sustained economic growth.

AT&T just bought time-Warner. AT&T will also be launching their own streaming service. Which mean they might pull out all DC shows from Netflix. Same with Disney who will also launch their own streaming service. Which may also mean they will pull out star wars, Marvels and Disney shows from Netflix.

I think in coming years you have to subscribe to 3 to 4 streaming services just to watch all your favorite shows.

Is it true that some children of OFW grow up hating their parents for being away? That's the typical portrayal in movies and TV kasi. If so, there is something really wrong. I'm glad I grew up with my parents around but if they had to go away in a foreign country to work, I won't hate them, in fact I would probably feel guilty for the sacrifice they have to make just to provide for me.

Yung alam ko IRL opposite, like my friend whose Dad works in the US. She hates her Mom kasi syempre it's the Mom that she lives with everyday. When the Dad goes home super spoiled siya. I told her what she is doing is very unfair to her Mom.
