we regularly lubricate our gate's hinges and horizontal bar, using used mineral engine oil. inuwi lang namin ang oil na 'yon, when we had a change oil.
the heavier the oil, the longer it stays useful.
grease is nice, but it ain't used. heh heh.
back in the day, some folks used it to coat their wood before pushing it into the ground. makeshift anti-rot daw. medyo flammable lang nga...

Fasten your seatbelt! Or else...Driven To Thrill!
i've coated my drill press with ATF which is semi exposed to the elements for years now. no rust. seems like atf has good anti-rust additives
ATF is also great for lubricating guns, sewing machines, etc. got this blued gun that i haven't touched in 5yrs. no rust
CVT fluid is actually a light gear oil w/ friction modifiers so the belt/pulley don't slip. might be ok to use on bicycle chains if you don't like those "dry" lubes. it's too thin for moto chains, flings off too easily
non-oring moto chains can be lubed with gear oil, sae140. even sae250 gear oil does fling off so it could be messy![]()
for gate hinges i prefer using grease spray or moto chain lube. they spray out thin (for penetration) but dry into a grease
I ordered food from a restaurant, 5 items dapat but since it was over budget, I had them remove the dessert (I think worth P500) I was surprised when my second Mom said meron nung dessert (buko pandan) I was pissed kasi am I supposed to pay for that kasi I removed that nga kasi over budget, sabi sakin ng friend ko error naman nila so I shouldn't pay for their error. Pero baka ma karma naman ako :P
I ate it hahah! Now I am in a dilemma if I should message them na they sent me a dessert I did not pay for. It's not in my budget nga kaya pinatanggal koOr I will just wait for them to message me
i really appreciate someones' posting new car models.
but my issue with these new models is, they're bigger than the older models.
mahirap i-pasok sa bagangay roads namin...
so near, and yet so far...
sigh.
at last sunday's Magallanes Mass,
i saw what i thought was an all-black RR cullinan. even the chrome and the spirit of ecstasy, were all black.
new, with conduction plates.
comment ni misis, "at that price, i expect at least two bedrooms with bath, a spacious kitchen and living room, and 200 sqm of soil".
There's one property that was named after me and my brother (long story) so if this is sold, 50% goes to me and 50% goes to the evil ex of my brother that we are not in speaking terms with. My Mom gets 0. If you were in my shoes, would you give an amount to your mother? If so, what %?
There are several other properties and for those my Mom gets majority share (67%). My Mom said for that property I should keep all the proceeds but I don't feel it's right about it because her name wasn't supposed to be excluded naman talaga. I wanna give her something but can't decide how much.
legally,
your mom is not entitled to anything, because, for reasons unknown, the original owner chose to skip her in favor of you.
so whatever she will get from the transaction, is entirely up to you two heirs.
personally, if i were in your shoes, i would ask evil ex-sisinlo if she, like you, is willing to part with some of her share to give to her mominlo.
otherwise, i would leave her alone with all her monies, and give some of my share to mom, the amount of which is entirely up to my discretion, i.e., how much does she need and how much do i need... 50% sounds good...
good luck.
