I remember checking on amanpulo 4yrs ago in PTPA and they have this package of I think 120k more or less all in with airfare, 3D2N accomodation. But now as I checked room rates it increase significantly almost 100k/night room rate only.

This is not new anymore, even during the newspaper days, practice na ito. These people are usually terminated for cause..

did the poster say why the person is not connected with them anymore? any warnings to the effect?

in the olden days of thick broadsheets,
ads of people who are not connected with the company anymore and any transaction with them will not be honored by the company, were dime a dozen.
i guess, it's to prevent these recently-unemployeds, from making any last-minute shenanigans against the company.

I think this is to remove the liability from the company for any transaction made with the employee. It is necessary for the company's protection.
