I called up DFA hotline and they told me I cannot book thru phone I can only book thru their online website so no choice I have to wait and check everytime to see if slots will open up. I wish I had the algorithm to check it out for me.

if you think you won't make it in time for your foreign appointments,
cancel your bookings sa plane and hotel already (if you already have them), before they become completely non-refundable.
cancel and probably, re-schedule your activity for a later date. inform all concerned.

    re. courtesy lane.
sometimes, the courtesy lane is just as long as the regular lane.
once, i went to the regular lane, as the courtesy lane was full, whereas the regular lane had vacancies. i was regularly re-visiting the online reg, when biglang nagkaron nang bakante.

DFA will bend over backwards for us, if our reason is truly valid. simply saying "walang bakante" won't cut it, 'though.
my colleague once had her expiring passport validated, just a day before the plane trip. apparently, her reason was sound.

    good luck.

    if i may,

"nagkataon lang, po." i am confident, they did not open it for deestone's exclusive convenience.
it's the 16th today, over halfway thru the month. probably the regular scheduled time for opening the following month's queueing. whatever, it was great, 'though un-intended, timing!
    good luck to you!
    heh heh .

    btw,
there's a mcdo outlet across the street, if breakfast and/or snack are in your plans.
parking is, last time we went, at the pay parking lot across. but i suspect, some folks park at the mcdo...

Can you recommend a good digital tire inflator? I bought one in shopee a year ago and I seldom use it then I just realize right now it isn't working. I bought the rectangular one with black / yellow color it is all over Shopee but quality is no good.

almost a year na yung Xiaomi/Mi tire inflator ko, yung rechargable and ok naman. one charge siguro can inflate a 4 tires from 25 to 30 psi. I also have a non-digital tire inflator yung sinasaksak pa sa cig lighter, more than 10 years na and still working.

For your montero buy a heavy duty >250 psi Elevo inflator.
I bought one from Concorde , almost 7 years and still working.
My road trips must have tool.

Dont buy the cheap 150 psi inflators, it doesn't last and overheat fast.
Good only for small tire cars.

This reminds me of the tire inflator I bought sa lazada na ikinakabit sa cigarette lighter. We haven't tried it yet since hindi naman kinailangan. We just put it next to the spare tire. Maybe I should try it kaysa dumating ang time na kailangan na only to find out na defective pala.

Yes I did use my tire inflator at least every 3 to 4 months just to check if it is working.

Ah yes the portable one I have seen it in Shopee I might consider it but it doesn't have a spare lighter socket right? It is just portable and rechargeable.

Actually tama ka, pag bumigay sa byahe, malala yun, as in hindi kaya inflate dahil sa laki ng butas. But may time na ung palang spare mo ay malambot na for whatever reason. Although mas important sya na pag gising mo sa umaga at flat sya, and you're out on business, pwede mo sya inflate till you reach a vulcanizing shop.

Bakit hinde na lang palitan ng spare then go the nearest vulcanizing shop? The least siguro meron naman donut spare tire.

my most common use for the tyre inflator, is to inflate the flat-ish or very soft tyre as i inspect the vehicle in the morning prior to driving away.
it is not everytime, that i feel i can still drive to the tyre repair shop with that soft tyre.

    inflator is like insurance.
we pay good money for one, then pray we need never to have to use it.
