This year, I decided to just give angpaos to my inaanaks. Actually malalaki na mga inaanak ko so I don't know kung mamamasko pa sila this year. Isa na lang ang bagong inaanak ko dun sa anak ng kababata ko.

Kapag 20s na inaanak, do you still give angpao?

I have inaanaks na yearly I give money kahit di ko nakikita but one that NEVER said thank you even through messenger or text, parang ayoko na ata bigyan, esp now that I don't have work 🤣

my rule of thumb is: no thank you no angpao next year.
It takes a few seconds to send a thank you message nowadays if they can't be bothered to do that then don't expect an angpao.

kung nagtatrabajo na, i do not give cash anymore.
but i do give items that i feel they may appreciate.
like payong, puerta de moneda o tarjeta de credito, personal emergency light, atbp.

it's all about giving. their saying thanks is a bonus.

Is it okay to drink a glass of wine every night? or a shot of whiskey probably 200ml every night? is that drinking moderately and won't damage your liver? what is the threshold?

i know of several oldsters who regularly have a glass or two, for their nitecap.

I have no choice but to drink some of the wines and whisky because my cabinet right now is full. I want to try to drink without damaging my liver hehe

you always have a choice, po.
the kitchen sink is one such.
hey! it came free! you should have no qualms getting rid of it.

another choice, is to give them away one by one, to your guests who come a'knockin' this season, or to acquaintances in the workplace.

Yes I have been giving it away last year's wine and whiskey I gave some away this Christmas. But it is just that this year there is over supply of wines and whiskey I don't know about them but I don't drink.

I still remember that, what a difference a decade makes.

2012 I was still using a Nokia because I refused to switch to a smart phone. Now I can't live without my phone.

He has physical signs of depression talaga. He used to be so conscious of his looks and in my entire life have never seen him with facial hair until recently. Parang na trigger nga doc nurturing instinct ko na I wanna take care of him
