someone who claims to only read peer-reviewed publications posted a rappler article written by a college student / amateur historian

    i get it

as long an article is in line with his views, it doesn't matter if it isn't peer-reviewed or isn't published in a well-respected scientific journal

    i understand

people adjust their standards when it suits them

Martin Luther King, Jr., reminded us that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” Change takes a long time, but it does happen.

Why so many people without manners and etiquette. There's a woman beside me watching tulfo on her mobile and she is NOT using earphones. So typical of someone who idolizes Tulfo

Yes, my wife goes up earlier than me and I told her to turn the AC off as soon as she walks out the room. That would extend my sleep cause that's the ideal temperature for me. But today I was forced to go up as it's already hot. That was 5am, although the temperature outside the house is cool.

Car A/C or bahay? I’d say dahil sa lack of cleaning.

that should be easy to decide.
remove the front cover and see how dirty it is.
    clean it if need so.

    also,
    sometimes,
it's not the cleanliness nor the aircon's condition,
sometimes, your aircon just isn't large enough.

i once purchased a 3/4 hp aircon, for the workplace.
it cooled enough, during the non-hot season.
come hot season, it didn't cool enough.

When I read this thread, I realized my ac filters were overdue 1 week for cleaning. My daughter also asked me to clean the filters yesterday because she was started using lower temperature settings this week.

I think it's the climate really, before I used to clean the ac filters I think 2 or 3x a year, no regular professional ac cleaning, probably once every 1.5 years but it's still cool till it conks out. It's really the onset of summer that you feel the transition the most. This you think your ac has a problem.

Speaking of car a/c. May nakapagpalinis na ba ng car a/c dito yung "walang baklas dashboard"? Yung ginagamitan ng camera pinapadaan sa loob ng dash?

once, i had my evaporator serviced. they did it without bringing down the dash, via a mechanic with two elbow joints.
years later, i had them do the same evaporator. this time, they insisted on bringing down the dash.
both times naman, the aircon functioned well afterward.
    go figure.

    my guess is,
the latter is more comprehensive, but takes more time.
