doc, I had a derma back in the 90s tell me sa 5th floor ako pumunta (or whatever is the equivalent of basement sa MMC sa TMC) hahahah! I was complaining about my underarms kasi and I wanted moles removed. None of which she did anything about. Looking back, that's the type of doctor we need, yung hindi mukhang pera at hindi sunud sunuran sa patients. I think she is the cousin of Dr APS. My Mom was so embarrassed with me and until now reminds me about it. Funny pa kasi Dr Cutie recommended her as derma too! Her husband is the OB of my Mom in the 70s! He is still practicing. How nice if I get pregnant and he will be my OB I told my Mom nga how weird na male OB but my Mom said Dr FG is good. He must be in his late 80s or 90s now!

in the olden days, OB was dominated by MEN of strong personality!
    they had to be.
they had to make instant life-and-death decisions that directly affected two living humans.

there was this old history story,
back in the day, when detroit metal was still the car to drive on our streets,
one of the medical school's best graduates, a latin honor at that, applied for OB residency training.
    tinanggihan siya,
    because she was a female.

How fascinating na things made a total turn around in just one generation. Kasi my Mom is a baby boomer, among Gen X and Millennials it's weird to have a male OB. I ALWAYS choose male doctors EXCEPT for Derma and OB. I've never been to an OB though since dalaga pa naman ako hehe

His clinic starts in the afternoon pero siguro 2 or 3 hrs after the start ka pa matitignan kasi hindi mo rin naman maestimate how long each consult takes. I came in 30 mins late, nag intay pa rin ako.

Wala siyang clinic the whole day, yung hapon talaga ang start niya. MMC and Asian lang siya. My Tita and I were computing nga, each consult magkano x number of patients. hahaha!

If you go on a Saturday, better be there super early daw.

If being late is not acceptable or frown upon sa lahat ng pagkakataon eh bakit nagkaroon ng pass ganitong mga walanghiya ng doctors?

Anong katangajan yun?

Malaking constraint kasi sakin na I only go to 3 hospitals (SLMC BGC, TMC and MMC)

Wala nag refer sa kanya na Doctor, I just asked my cousin if he knows a good nephro. Yung ang LATE LATE LATE. I posted about it nga sa board kasi tumakas lang ako sa office para magpa consult, 2 hrs late ata yung doctor Sana bumalik na lang ako sa office at nagwork. May tsikoteer that was able to piece things together, nephro din yun ng Mom niya and he confirmed na late talaga yun parati at tagal ng wait time. He ordered tests for me, though he said I'm okay naman.

What is worse? Na "bump" or move down the list pa ko kasi priority daw ang SENIOR at MAY SAKIT (dialysis?) hindi pwede maghintay. E ako lang ata bata dun! How could I complain? That would make me sound like an assh0le.

My MD brother says halos lahat ng OB sa Amerika are male.

Dito lang kasi... masyadong naiilang ang mga babae to see a male OB, evin if bakla pa yung OB...

    in the olden days,
when your wife needed medical service, whether surgical, obstetric or non-surgical,
the husband would bring her to the best of the best,
"para wala masabi si parents-in-law niya."

in manila, there were only a handful of obstetricians that fit the bill,
    they were all male.
well, except for one, who was biologically female...

    when wifey needed an OB,
i simply brought her to the son of one of those bests of the best, who was also making a name for hisself.
    schoolmate ko nung high school.
... nice to be a doctor with acquaintances.

    just heard over the radio,
authorities confiscate mercury-laden cosmetics in baguio.

    i am thinking,
"they still make these mercury-laden cosmetics?"

Probably from CHINA! That's why I NEVER ever buy fake or cheap make up products especially in divisoria. Galing nila gumaya, you could barely tell the difference. I know mataas din lead content ng fake cosmetics. Kaya when I buy at divisoria/China it's NEVER things that I consume or put on my face or body. Arts and crafts and hello kitty stuff okay lang China I used to buy China shoes pero mabilis masira.

How to remove rust stains from chrome?

Baka may member dito na actual na gumawa na?

I have seen plenty of DIYs at Google but not really sure if they can effectively restore the chrome without scratches (rub with aluminum foil) nor loose their luster (use vinegar/coke).

Nor if any of the commercial preparations available at Lazada or Shopee really work.img_20220723_133228.jpg

Baby oil at microfiber.

For preventive light punas ng baby oil or kerosene paste floorwax.

Thanks, because if your suggestion, I thought maybe WD 40 be worth a try also. [emoji4]

    puede.
it is not difficult to remove the rust, light or heavy.
cloth... fine sand paper... i use wire brush for heavier rust.
but it will recur, unless one seals the raw metal from the air.
    paint, usually.

    one thing for sure,
we won't be able to hide that chrome-less surface, as it will always stick out from the surrounding chrome.

oil it on the surface, to hinder rust?
the oil will only attract dirt.
painting it, along with the rest of the stand, is probably better. just choose the appropriate color.
you might try "colorless" shellac or caronia...

Any CIMB depositors here who received this poorly written notification? It was crazy threatening that I'm wondering if people also pulled out their money like me. Because in less than 12 hours, they issue an apology to ignore the push notification. So now they know how easy it is to start a digital bank run?
