Lolz. Additional revenue stream! We find ways haha.

But seriously I hope hindi totoo ito. Kalokohan na yung bank if they can't even check what they load onto their ATMs.

Kainis nga, parang hindi siya natsamba din ng luck nung 2008 eh vs Massa. He should be greatful still. It was not a blatant error of Massi, may kunting leeway talaga sa rules. Ayusin na lang nila kasi.

Parang si Novak din itong si LH eh, masyado madrama.

Yes. I had to confirm with my friend who worked longer at the cards department. He said that the bank either endorses or sells the debt. Kapag endorsed sa collections agency, then the card holder can still negotiate the payment with the bank, but when it's sold then it's the discretion of the collections agency na

Filipinos spend the most time online and on social media at almost 11 hours per day—study -MSN NEWS

sobrang adik talaga natin sa socmed? why kaya unlike other neighboring countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand?

I use to get to socmed in just short times lang naman.

Totoo naman? I got my Note 9 at 12 months 0% installment. I was told it's the same price whether cash or installment so I chose installment, at least I know the money goes to my phone instead of spending on non-sense. I tend to zero out my monthly salary and I don't even know what I spend on I am 100% sure there was no interest kasi it's price/12. I pay my full credit card balance monthly so wala talaga ako binabayaran na interest

In some cases yes. But most will offer a "cash discount" so it will come out cheaper. Merchants will always absorb or pass on the card company's surcharge and this only gets higher as the term gets longer. So the longer the 0% installment term, the higher the margin of the merchant has to be to make up for the MDR.

I bet if you look hard enough you can find most items at a lower price for cash.

Weird nga because we always pay cash because of the discount, I did have the cash with me, but I was told that there is no cash discount so I opted for 12 mos 0% installment. It happened twice with me (both Samsung phones) I hate paying interest kaya ever since cash kami. The ONLY thing my parents are okay paying interest on (or not paying cash for) is property/land

Samsung probably protects its brand better by tightening dealer pricing/offers and that probably extends to payment options via CC. Kaya you'll find that pricing is more or less the same most places you go. But for sure may mga pasaway na dealer and those are the ones I always look for hehe.

Bihira lang din naman ang talagang nakakarating sa korte doon sa mga naipasang utang sa collection agency. Once na naipasa ka na, susunod na doon mag-sesend sa iyo ng demand letter supposedly from a law firm. This will go on for quite a while. If you still ignore it, continuing harassment na ang kasunod usually through harassing calls. Tapos mayroon nang pupuntang collection agent sa residence or even sa workplace mo. Then ang uso nga yata ngayon eh ipapahiya ka through social media, or even directly messaging your close contacts, sort of indirectly harassing them or para mapahiya ka lang talaga sa kanila. Until finally yung may utang na ang pupunta sa korte to stop the harassment. The court's solution would then be to come up with a settlement.

I have not bought anything via 0% cc installment, unless explicitly said na same lang talaga ang cash and cc price - usually yung sa straight cc payment (though really haven't understand this). If the value of the item is at around 10k, asahan mo na ang cash equivalent discount is around 1~2k less kung cash payment. So kung may cash ka naman, why bother? Alam ko may batas diyan against cc surcharge, kaya usually yung naka-indicate na price is supposedly the cash and cc price na. Pero in practice nga di naman nasusunod. Parating may discount pa rin sa cash payment.

Usually nakikita ko yan sa appliance stores. Dalawa naka display na price tag, isang pang CC at isang pang cash.

^ They usually not label them as the cash and credit card prices. More like SRP and Sale Price, a 10 ~ 20% discount availed through cash payment.
