Define what are your non-negotiables. If being closer to family is a must for you, then go home.

If the location doesn't bother you, then find the best opportunity regardless of country.

How is it possible na hindi pa rin ubos yung LPG tank ko?

We've been using the same LPG tank since May 2019. We cook 2-3x a day on average, yet until now hindi pa rin siya ubos.

Using a Shellane LPG and Elba stove if that helps.

Most of the other people I asked mga 3-4 months nga lang daw tinatagal ng LPG. Kaya sobrang weird na 1 yr 4 months na sakin.

If you ave usage is 2-3x a day mas madalas pa gamit mo bro compared samin?

Once a day lang kami gumamit, seldom talaga yung maka more than once.

Ano niluluto ninyo? Baka sobrang bilis lang? Sa akin less than a month to a month lang LPG.

I know kasi pinapasulat ko sa LPG mismo delivery date para nga malaman kung gaano katagal.

Iba iba. Typical fried food plus stuff like pasta, katsu, filipino dishes, etc. Usually we cook for 2 people lang but pag weekends friends and family usually come over.

But seriously, I'd like to copy your cookware and stove. Looks super efficient.

Baka may nagpalit na para sa yo na di lang nagsabi. I don't think may tatagal ng ganyan unless di halos ginagamit.

About the same usage kami ni shadow. Isip ko nga magpalit ng cookware para makatipid. Also maybe get one of those flame shield things that supposedly make stovetops more efficient.

if you are using an electric rice cooker and an electric hot water-er, that helps a lot.
also, the fact that dalawa lang kayo madalas, and, i suspect, kuminsan ay solo-flight, is also a big factor.
out lpg lasts 1.5 - 2 months. we are four large-tummied adults, eating TID, and we use lpg for all our cooking, including our rice and coffee water.

i assume, your lpg tank is the common residential variety 11.5 kg, and not the industrial size na sin-taas ng tao.

It's the same LPG pa rin. Dalawa lang naman kami ng wife ko and she's equally shocked na buhay pa yung stove. Inexpect ko mauubos during ECQ cuz we're always home pero it's still alive today.

Maybe mas efficient ang newer gas stoves? But I don't expect it to be 3x more efficient vs older stoves since I'm assuming the tech hasn't really changed much. It's an Elba 4-burner with 1 electric burner and electric oven:

Following your usage and assuming linear ang gas consumption with # of people in a household then ours should've conked out at 4 months (which is the typical lifespan of our LPG at home when I still lived with my family).

It's the same 11 kg tank that most households have:

I don't like leaving food/oil stains kasi diyan naattract mga ipis.

Parang more peace of mind nga pag naubos at least I'll know na no issue hehe. It's due for replacement anyway, every day past the 6th month has felt like a bonus.

Sayang sa space to keep a spare. One of my burners is electric para makapagluto pa rin in the event na maubos. Or pwede rin bake nalang sa oven. Then the LPG guy is just a phone call away anyway.
