It's not the creator's kasi who makes the decision. It's the sales and marketing team and based on their research/survey, majority of Pinoys love those themes or at least those Pinoys who still watch teleserye. So the plot need not be new nor complicated to be successful. That is if we look at past data. Kaya ganun, paulit-ulit. Same with the Koreanovela craze. Kahit ano basta Korean novela pumapatok afaik. Even now ata ganun din.

Then there is these damn shows that push anti-conservative values. Same-*** relationships on netflix originals cartoons.. wtf! Early year indoctrination.

Surprisingly, US futures are up given the sell-off in China today.

Bakit kaya? Investors transferring their investments back to the US?

ADRs like Luckin coffee (starbucks of China) is down almost 7% pre-market though.

Uls? care to share your expertise?

maybe coz ngayon lang nakapagreact ang China stocks sa impact ng coronavirus

i mean coz sarado sila last week so they're only catching up while US stocks already reacted last week

ung selloff ng China today would have been last week's selloff if they were open

But TB is very very treatable.

This, on the other hand. We haven't seen anything like this before.

So wala na mabili ng face mask, wala na rin alcohol, I wonder whats the next thing na mauubos? Vitamin C? Will people start hoarding vitamin C especially those generic labels?

I didn't actively looked sa mga tindahan, pero sa 3 tindahan na napuntahan ko, 1 grocery, 2 drug store, ubos na mga alcohol, sa Mercury greenbelt right next to "out of stock face mask" sign is "out of stock alcohol" sign. I wonder kung pwede alcohol ang agua oxinada

sanitization is the end-result of both alcohol and agua oxigenada.
but the latter is too messy to bring around and use... there's that bubbling that one has to rid his hands of...
not to mention the potential un-controlled oxidation that high concentration oxygen gas can bring about...

    Ok, how about gin? [emoji23]

Seriously, even my wife looked for alcohol sa moa, wala na rin. I'll ask my brother in law who frequent provinces, maybe there's no panic buying on provinces yet.

last time i went to the convenience store (beside the hospital, pa!), meron naman akong nakita...

70 % alcohol offers the most effective sanitation activity.
if you want to use gin, make it 140 proof.
pang-hollywood lang yung binubuhos na alak sa sugat...

besides, you might get into trouble, "smelling like a drunk because you washed your hands with gin"...

probably just as effective in sanitation, but certainly much messier, is ordinary soap and water.

    heh heh.

Maybe because that's convinince store, usually prices are doubled at yung mga small bottles lang. And the way people use alcohol now a days, after every move alcohol. After using and holding on the escalator alcohol.
