I'm thinking about how my son, my youngest, is turning 3 very soon and how I can't wait until he's old enough to learn to drive. A bonding moment I never had with my own father. [emoji3525]

hayan kasi! because nobody wanted to be the spelling nazi, bred-in na ang napakaraming mis-spellings dito sa tsikot.com.

funny, how one can describe "hands covering eyes" and "left foot pressing on imaginary brake pedal" as a bonding moment.
    heh heh heh.
    joke, of course.

My father teaching me how to drive a stick is one of ny fondest childhood memories. I was 13 that time and nasa probinsiya.

So kahit walang lisensiya, okay lang. 🤫

My son is also 3 years old now. Likes playing cars and imitating those kid bloggers doing toy reviews. Just yesterday, he and her mother went out to buy a toy billiard table. Very happy playing with his new toy that he fell asleep beside it last night. A few years more magstart na kami sa bump car.

I still remember letting my son practice his driving skills ( he learned in the DS). There were 2 turning points. First was getting stuck in traffic at the off ramp northbound to C5. Na practice “hanging” nya. He was drenched in sweat & the unmistakable scent of BO in the closed car. Second was him going solo to attend a debut at night in Intramuros, which is no joke, even to seasoned drivers. He survived both, with no incidents. Became a better driver because of it.

It was my uncle (in the PH) who taught me how to drive stick shift with his owner jeep.

He was also the one who introduced me to beer and all the merriness that comes with it. He also took a mussel (beer food) and compared it to a *ahem* woman's body part. It sticks with me to this day.

Needless to say, my mom didn't like him one bit. But, to me, he was lots of fun to be around.

Tahong..... That's it. Kinda funny when my uncle was poking one with his small finger.

Due to worsening traffic and poor public transportation system here in Metro Manila, I decided to ride motorcycle going to my office. Then things happen, I got involve into an accident due to sudden detach front panel of the motorcycle that caused the accident.

Luckily, i only got minor scraped on my knee because i don't wear knee pads.

I am thinking right now, what might happen if there's a fast approaching car or truck on my back when the accident happened.
