My Mom just told me about her friend in HS who is "kawawa" now because she had to move from her 1,000 sq m house in Makati to a small condo near her old house.
My Mom's friend lives with her mother and when her mother passed away recently, all her siblings that are based in the US wanted the property sold so my mom's friend had no choice but to sell because she can't buy out her siblings. My Mom said her classmate lives with helpers na lang because all her children are also in the US
She lost her mother, had to move out off the house she lived in almost all her life, away from all her siblings and away from her children. It's too much for a person in her 70s

Either the last one won't get married dahil sa responsibilidad sa magulang or makasal man eh dun pa rin sa magulang titira.
