So far I've been getting mid-range suppliers and still my total is way above the range they indicated. [emoji21]

I spent more than that in my wedding kasi andami pa wala dyan like wines, lechon, wedding organizer, wedding singer(s), flowers (do take note spend like 30k here, kasi sobrang bare ng venue, kinasal ako sa Edsa Shang and good thing magaling ang flower suppliers namen, pero free na sa edsa Shang ang bridal limo as well as wedding cake and also 1 upgrade suite for the bride and her family and 1 for my family plus another consecutive night sa suite kami Dalwa na lang, I had a free night pa on anniv pero ki-nlaim ko na din as third night for the room, with 2 bfast for two sa heat.

Other thing pa to consider, Pagkain sa bride room, kasi dun madami Tao before wedding, makeup artists, wedding assistants, bridesmaids and of course the bride's family. Kainan sila dun. Plus the tips, I gave 7k tip to ball room captain waiter. And also tips for the wedding organizer's assistants.

I'm amused - this is actually some pretty useful info coming from you. Refreshing. [emoji16]

We'll be having a garden reception in Tagaytay so the flowers for the reception aren't a problem. The crew meals have also been taken into account. I haven't bought a suit yet for my wedding, although I'm looking for one now for my friend's wedding in March. Might have it tailored if I can't find a decent coat off the rack.

I've never been extravagant with my food spending so I think I'll be fine even after the wedding. But thanks for the concern. [emoji6]

    1. kesyo dapat daw bongga bridal cake, no!

    2. Kesyo dapat the best photo and video top of the industry, No! Basta may talent at mabilis kagad mag on the dot editing para ma-play kagad habang nag-dinner. Don't ever think that your friends will watch the entire length of your wedding video sa FBI
Or YouTube, most of the time if fast forward nila kung San sila nakita sa camera. But dapat yun videographer nyo may interview section sa mga guests, you know well wishers. Your friends will comment the best wedding I ve been to, congrats etc. etc.
So make sure meron ka nun interview portion na yun.

At least sya nag-initiate. Tapos sya na din nag-reminsce, nanghihinayang sya sa gastos sa wedding gown .. pero kung fit na maman wife mo , fine get her the best gown. But kung mataba, kahit ano Gawin nya dyan sa gown wala mangyayari sa photo and video, sa video pa naman you tend to look larger pa . Ako nag-gym ako ng 3 hours on the day before my wedding day

My cake is just free from my caterer. Don't really mind at all as long as they get the design right. Only one layer is edible anyway.

I splurged a bit on my videographer because I really like his style. Among the dozens of SDEs I've watched on YouTube and Vimeo, his videos stand out because they tell a good story and the cinematography is very candid and natural.

For the photog, I spent weeks researching and comparing different suppliers. Surprisingly, we ended up with a photog that wasn't on my shortlist. We met him at last week's wedding fair and I was pleasantly suprised at how clean his post-processing was.

I haven't paid much attention to the gown although my fiancé and I share the same sentiments - it doesn't have to be expensive because you only wear it once, and perfect fit trumps brand name so it's all about getting it tailored right. And yes I agree that gowns really look better if you're not fat.

We live in a very shallow world

My former model cousin (ramp not starlet or car show model) is chubby now. She used to be skinny at 5'8" 109 lbs but I bet she will still look good in a gown in spite of gaining weight.

Wow! OB I am getting tired of your trolling. AND YES I AM FAT.
