There are many streets safety that are unknown to most people. Yung paglakad lang sa roads without sidewalk, you are supposed to walk on the side of the road facing oncoming cars. This is basic safety even for kids, but people rarely knew it.
Maybe they should make it part of the school curriculum.

Thinking about getting a new career, aling with a new line of work.... hirap lang nga maghanap coz tenured na rate ko... di ko alam kung may papatol pa sa akin.
On the matter of crossing the street- I call it “small town” / “provincial mentality” - simply coz people got used to small roads and relatively slow vehicles, they don’t bother worry about which side of the road to walk on or where and when to cross the street. Kaya ang hirap ng road trip sa atin dahil pag labas mo sa highway, pag dating sa populated areas, puro pedestrian and tricycle aabutin mo.

- hoping for payday soon.
- does grabcar still hire drivers? Yun walang sariling sasakyan pero willing bumiyahe? Or separate usapan na yun with the vehicle owner...

I'm thinking of moving to the USI don't like my German boss too much anymore. I don't like my work area. My pay is so low. I can get away from my Dad's family.
I've been postponing this for so long. Not sure if this is a sign...
If I may ask - what are your life goals right now?
I'm just getting the sense that you want a lot of things but aren't jumping to get any of them because you're comfortable where you are.
We all want different things that would make us happy and fulfilled, but the key step is really identifying what those goals are so you can focus your energy in achieving them.
If you want better pay, you might want to actively search new jobs. If you want better pay with the same familiarity, you might want to work towards a promotion.
If you want to settle down, you might want to be more serious in the dating scene. If you want to distance yourself from your toxic family, you might want to be more firm in drawing the line and cutting them out.
From the usual "wants" that you post on this forum, I don't see how moving to the US will solve any of them.
Yes jobs generally pay higher, but unless you already have a job waiting for you there, chances are you're gonna have to start lower down the ladder and work much longer than you ever did here in the PH.
Moving to the US will mean you will have to be reliant with whoever family you have there. Either that or learn to live completely alone, which is again a difficult option.
Whatever you decide on, I wish you contentment.

juts, ako meron other way. i eliminated a lot of life goals. I found out kasi that the reason why we are all unfulfilled is because we have so many hang ups trying to be somebody we're not. remove life goals and it will be better, what is life goal, that is long term goal. long term goal is like a prison sentence that you have to complete pero the problem is our psyche is not really hardwired to plan or to go to a one path direction lang.
God designed us to be spontaneous. that's why **** happens even if we are on the right path. kasi nga God doesn't want you to fulfill life goals. like for example the Gokongweis and the Sys, hindi naman nila life goal yun status nila ngaun. they are where they are because of a series of challenges na ibinanat sa buhay nila, some even unplanned or unasked for
kasi tignan mo, why go to all that trouble opening so many SM malls that competed with each other in the long term. now problema nila Lazada, Amazon, Aliexpress. Pinoys just view their products on the mall and buy online. so if we gonna ask them right now, is it really necessary to open up all those SM branches. malamang napapaisip na sila sa end game. so that's the cost of trying to conquer to be number 1 trying to own the world. the empire will crumble. BUT only if you think your malls will be a store, ngaun nagbebenta na sila ng insurance sa malls. san ka pa diba
yung contentment ang mahirap, im kinda semi retired already..main focus now is spending more time together as a family, money you can earn, pero time is more valuable..di mo na maibabalik.

Now the media is reporting that those earning around P20k a month will not pay tax...
The news release was the personal exemption for everyone is fixed at P250k and this does not affect the P82k of non taxable benefit.
The computation was gross income less non taxable benefits less personal exemption is net taxable income.
The first line of the tax table states that up to P250k no tax.
So if you are earning P582k you have a net taxable income of P250k and if you look at the tax table, you need not pay tax.
Now with that interpretation of media, the tax table is based on the gross income instead of the net taxable income.
So where is the item for personal exemption?
