haha
unlike all those people in public transportation also stopped in traffic, you have the luxury of sitting in an airconditioned late model Altis (which your mother bought for you) to contemplate about your heavily subsidized life
#firstworldproblems
but yeah i understand life could be better
you could be laying in bed all day than having to go to work
you weren't bred to go to the office
you were bred to be a housewife
so yeah life sucks
The unfortunate events that have been unfolding now in hurricane hit puerto rico is eerily similar to our tacloban city experience immediately after typhoon yolanda struck back in '13
when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks into you

That's about a decade away pa
Baka nagmumurang kamatis?
There are times when I wish I were a housewife but my job gives me happiness also (my boss and my friends). If I get married and my husband and I can survive on just his income, maybe we can have the same arrangement as my parents na my Mom keeps all her income.
I just get sad when I think about my old life. Parang sitcom nga life namin kasi lahat comedy. Masaya talaga especially with my brother and all his antics. Kamot ulo na lang Daddy ko. LOL.
I've been thinking about that bro. Specially for the elderly. Seeing all the older Chinese and Japanese people well into their 60s and 70s still working makes me think how they find the drive to still do it when any day could be their last.
If it were me I'd probably lounge my twilight years off on a beach somewhere, to enjoy the views both made by man and God alike.
Some people get satisfaction from working kasi. I know people who can afford not to work (like crush) but they choose to work pa rin. It's admirable. Yun ang likas na masipag.

But at some point when I'm older I can't imagine doing the same thing I've been doing all my life.
My cousin in Japan told me this story of how an elderly gentleman in his 70s still came to work every day as a janitor. At the end of each day he would be fetched by his a driver in a Camry. So obviously he wasn't doing it for the money.
I just thought people might like to do stuff they like before they kick the bucket. I certainly wouldn't want to die at work.
My high school teacher still teaches. He is 90 years old.
