I remember shaving my head completely bald with an electric hair clipper. I was supposed to deploy to Honduras which has a very hot tropical climate.

Then, my orders got cancelled. When I went back to work, I got a lot of smiles and snickers for a few weeks.

Being bald and wearing eyeglasses don't go well together. He He.

I think around college i knew i was gonna get bald as my super thick hair was receding. I tried savilla plants, minoxidyl etc. when that didnt work i said f*ck it. Im gonna embrace it. Went to a barber and had it shaved. And yes i workout regularly so im happy with that as the side effect hehe. The overall effect didnt turn out too bad. Now I shave it myself.

Never thought seriously about transplants. Too fragile. Too painful. Too expensive and too vain.

Luck of the draw i guess that my genes are such. Do i feel any less than other guys with hair? Nope. At first i was insecure. Who wouldnt be? But time cures all that. I dont think about it anymore.

Amongst my close friends No one even talks about hair or lack of it anymore.

During highschool i got a very thick hair, and whites starting to show, works like a charms sa girls they always like pulling white hairs and counting it.. nakakalbo nman ako sa front lang parang Shaolin monk..

Ahh di ko lang napansin na ganon pala sya sir. Sometimes kasi nagtatanong si waze kung bigla sya nakakadetect ng slowdown, ask nya kung nasa traffic ako, then saka ako sasagot kung oo or hindi then what kind of traffic yung situation ko.. So nagkakaron parin ako ng interaction sa waze. Pero i'll check nalang din siguro later. Thanks sir

I think I will die never seeing the North.

I don't even like travelling but somehow I want to see Vigan, Patapat bridge, the sand dune and the Windmills.

It should not be too much trouble now, with NLEX>SCTEX>TPLEX. And PAL has flights to Laoag, takes just 1 hour.

It's the road trip that I want. Your thread made me sad I've been posting here at the board for YEARS on how much I wanna go North. And besides I can't drive that far. I only drive in places familiar to me.

WHY WHY WHY can't I have people around me who actually LOVE to drive. I am surrounded with people who complain about driving. It's only my Dad and brother that enjoy driving but they're not around. hay!

With the NLEX/SCTEX/TPLEX expressways, going north is much easier than before. Weekdays would be best, since usually konti lang ang traffic then.

Grab a buddy, so you can take turns driving ;)

Road trips are fun (for me, anyway, because I love to drive).

You can always go solo, travel during daytime and do the trip in several legs (like Manila to Urdaneta, stay the night, then onwards to Vigan the next day) - you gotta get rid of your manyak tint first, though, to help with your eyesight

Nah. I would rather stay home than drive that far alone. I'd feel so sorry for myself I might end up driving off a cliff.

I HATE IT NOW I only enjoyed it the first or second year. I was still in college when I lost my perfect vision, ever since it's been hard for me to drive na.
