Today I faced a quintessential "Life or Career" dilemma.

I have an overseas trip with my girlfriend in June, the only time that she's free for an entire week because of her busy med school schedule. I booked this last December, aligned it with my new company's HR back in March, and sought approval from my N+1 last month.

Just this morning, my boss suddenly announced that we will have an important audit during the same period as my vacation. Senior leaders from the company will be there, and my entire team was called in. It would be a great opportunity to get to know the big bosses and leave a good impression. My line manager even told me the same when I raised the schedule conflict with him.

Ultimately decided to push through with the trip. Big opportunity cost in terms of networking (very important in a big company), but I'm willing to pay the price.

Although I have to disagree with you with the out of town trips. Most modern cars are still capable. Yung 1988 300E ko nga can still keep up with its more modern siblings at 150-160 kph.

Did 140kph in TPLEX with it. There was a Wigo na I overtook and then I went back to the slow lane then after few second the Wigo that I overtook is nearing me. He overtook me and cut me almost hiting my front bumper. I don't why he had to cut me ang luwag luwag ng TPLEX.

Sabi ko sa sarili ko this car poses a threat to my safety kaya inovertakan ko nalang ulit para hindi ko na nakita.
Tama kaya yung decision ko hmm
