Happened to me many years ago.

I specifically booked for a non smoking room and what the hotel gave me was a room which smelled like cigarette...

So i called the desk and asked for another room... After a while, i was sitting and waiting while watching television when the door opened and a blonde hottie walked in and we exchanged glances and then pleasantries... It was good that i haven't changed clothes yet and i was good to go...

So off i went to the front desk...

well, in your instance, i do not think so.
you are dwelling on the good that could have been.
but what about the bad that could have been? i mean, what guarantee do you have, that you would have lived happily ever after, had you married him?

Di rin. Better to be alone than be stuck with the wrong person imho...pero pag ex usapan parang lagi tragic ano? Mga what-ifs at pag inaalala mo parang eulogy. Puro good qualities at puro masayang memory...making the remembering all the more tragic.
