2 cousins who returned to Manila to retire.

One joined the US Navy onboard a logistics ship IIRC. Retired after 20 years. He says he'll buy a small house in Pampanga or Bulacan and enjoy his pension and travel locally.

The other worked a sous chef onboard a luxury liner for several years. Daming pera kasi single at walang anak. He'll try out the local casinos daw. Baka wala pang 2 taon, ubos ang ipon niya.

Is that your baby bro? Our pedia doesn't recommend babies standing up before 10 months if memory serves. Bad for them she says.

Wife called from her work in a panic. She said her Rogue wouldn't start at all. The ignition wouldn't turn with dials vibrating and lights flickering. I told her it's just the battery. But, she didn't think so and ordered me to come pronto.

Once I got there, I made sure it's not a case of steering wheel lock. Took the battery out. Took it to the nearest service shop and had it tested. Sure enough. The battery is bad. It's a factory Nissan battery. I had told the wife not to use Nissan batteries because they don't last long. I had told her to go with something like Autolite which lasts ~5 years. She didn't listen.

We bought a 3rd-party battery which is guaranteed for 3-5 years plus have the alternator tested (free). Thumbs up. Wife's happy.

She's standing up on her own via her crib bars. Today she was standing on her own-she let go from the bars-looool. Free standing 6.5mo baby.

Legs are strong.

the baby will stand up when it is ready to. it's not right to prevent it from standing if it wants to.
what we should do, is to remove potential dangers when it does so.

do rain visors really work? i haven't really noticed if it really does

IMHO they cause visibility issues. Especially in the A-pillar. The eye takes time to adjust between the different gradients (these visors are normally tinted). And this kinda reduces visibility especially in the front left A pillar.

I would.never use them.
