Mukhang underground road bro. ang project.

Bro.shadow was telling us earlier (although in the previous administration),- that this project is almost at the point of getting approved to proceed.

Anyway,- the current DPWH Secretary should realize that this is a major infrastructure connectivity that they should accomplish as soon as possible to prevent the gridlock that is happening almost every minute in the area of Sales Bridge....

Well that project would really help if it was approved. The engineering will be very tricky. That sales bridge is a nightmare.

    I hope so, too, bro.

Imagine, from C5, I need to go north via East Service Road to Sales (about 2Km), and hope I won't be held at Sales Bridge for an hour, and then go south via West Service Road (another 2Km) to be at C5 Extension (Merville Access Rd).... Deym! Waste of time and fuel...

Or,- can they not put an exit right after entering SLEX from C5,- so that vehicles can enter West Service Road???
[Yeah, I know - redundant as they already have a Merville Exit at SLEX southbound],- but this addresses a different set of travelers....

    Oh well....

Bought some pork that had a certain odor. Our kasambahay said hindi naman sira, but sometimes fresh pork will smell a bit rancid. Baka matandang baboy daw, or sa pinakain sa baboy.

Made some tocino and asado out of it, buhay pa naman kaming lahat.

I was thinking before that this could be either due to what you said or during handling, like meat underwent deterioration prior to freezing. Encountered this often when I was buying pork from groceries only, even Monterey. One time instead of discarding, I gave it my neighbor to see if it is fit for dogs, to which she commented that it is the reason why she only buys meat from our talipapa. So I tried.

Surprisingly it was cheaper and better. Also noticed lately that the liempo at the talipapa had better meat to fat ratio than those at groceries. No more smelly pork since then.

Ymmv bro, but for me women's retail therapy is as much about what they buy as the shopping experience. Closest quote I can think of is "It's not the destination, but the journey".

Does anyone else believe "Time flies when you're having fun?" Still seems to fly for me even when doing sh!tty work. Lapit na ng Christmas!

The novelty of rowing gears wore off me eventually. I found out driving manual is only exciting when I'm pushing the car to its limits, whether accelerating or redlining the engine.

MT is just as boring as AT when stuck in traffic or running errands in town. If that's the case, I rather use an AT and be comfortable. If I'm stuck in traffic, at least I can drive with one hand and eat a burger or pork on a stick or drink a Big Gulp with the other hand.

Speaking of cars..... We saw the new 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport (twin turbo V6) at the Auto Mall. Looks like Ford is doing a throwback to the Contour era which coupled a small sedan with a small-displacement V6.

Twin turbo 2.7L V6, 325 hp, AWD.... Brings a smile to my face. ;) Too bad the wife still wants a people hauler.
