Shall I remove the dashcam?
Will bring in the car sa casa tomorrow for body repair.

If it were me I'd remove anything that isn't screwed on: coins, manuals, tools, microfiber rags, sd card of navi, etc. If I could pull out the head unit and a/c, I would.

haha, casa are such crooks... but for me i leave the dashcam for the following reasons
1. there is a s/n on the dashcam, thus they cant swap it out
2. you would know what they been doing but useless if they are smart enough to unplug it
3. if they unplug it, what is their valid reason for this
downside is, if you did not erase the sd card prior to bringing it to the casa, they will watch your videos hehe
*just make sure on the checklist that there will be a note that a dashcam was left by the customer or else they will say it was never there...
^ If you do decide to leave it in the car...wouldn't hurt to take a pic of the interior before you leave it at the casa...and make sure the mechanics see you taking the pic.
Keeping two cars would lessen our expenses alotted for vehicle maiintainance since we have been using Uber for one month now and using our cars only during weekends.
Im thinking kasi na probably they will unplug it, very visible naman kung saan yung power supply and if they did wala na ako magagawa.
Pero baka iwan ko pa din, parang social experiment na din / test sa casa.
If no recorded video, I don't know how will I interpret it.
Shall i take it against them?
Show and ask them how come no videos recorded?

the receptionist at subaru lists everything inside the car including my dirty hanky, coins pati denomination, magazines, even shoes...
The junior technician in Hyundai casa tried listing everything. Breaking down even the denomination. He wasn't done listing when the job was completed. I wasn't sure why he needed to do that for a job that doesn't require the car to stay behind.
Anyway, talking about Subaru reps. I was inquiring about the new Forester in a mall display. The lady rep was nice and you know, eye candy. She was getting comfy and doing great strides. She blushed when suddenly the missus just appeared out of nowhere to check on me and the Forester. Talk about timing huh?![]()
Where did that happen? I would not expect people to cross on what looks like a highway?
sa c5 yan going to slex... dati pa may bigla tumatawid dyan along with the many modus of pako, spike strip (gamit ang sira payong) at nambabato ng windshield... may mga barriers sa gitna yan to deter yong mga tumatawid pero na sinira na ng pedestrians, puro squatters kase nasa paligid nyan...

Not me. A car is a mule to be abused. ;) I keep good ones for 10+ years (usually 13 years) before buying a new one. I keep a car for a shorter span if I have a beef with it.
I kept my Plymouth Laser RS Turbo for 13 years (1990-2003). The Ford Contour 2.5L V6 (1995-2008). Now, the Sonata 3.3L V6 (2005-2018?).
The bad ones..... My first car was a used 1976 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6L. I bought it in 1983 and sold it in 1986 because I couldn't afford the gas and maintenance at the time. A Nissan Pulsar NX 1986-1991 because it just didn't have enough horsepower (just 55) for its size. Some semis gained on it in a climb.A used 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan 2003-2005 because the repairs were simply too frequent and cost too much.
The only car that bucked the trend was a used 2006 Honda Odyssey 2008-1013. Very reliable. It was my wife's daily driver and it drove poorly in the deep snow of New York's Great Lakes Region. She traded it in for a new Nissan Rogue AWD (2013-present). So far, it looks like the Rogue will be a keeper as well. The wife loves it.
