Not all has a means to travel to avoid SM.

Yan ang ginawa ni SM nagkalat siya strategically parang BDO.

Parang avoid China made products battle cry lang yan, paano? Lahat na lang sa mundo made in China hehe

There isn't much choice in SM. Other groceries have more hard to find products like Unimart.

I don't know with other people, but I also found out from my friends that they also made a conscious decision to avoid anything SM (malls, bdo etc). It's a small gesture but it counts.

They're a little bit more expensive than palengke rates, but for personal consumption OK na rin.
The person who cooks here at home is VERY makilatis when it comes to meat. I was surprised when she said the meat I bought at S&R was very good (pigue had very little fat and thick meat)

Afaik, if what they're (repair shop) doing is a nuisance, there need not be a complainant. They are duty bound to remove it or abate it. Medyo engot din yung mga tanod. Sabagay, what do you expect when most of them are from the streets themselves and have no idea what they're doing?

and to add to the sm madness, the quality control of the items in the department store is very bad...

one day, i had to buy a green shirt for an event. i got a medium size shirt, pero when i went home to fit it ang luwag nya! para syang large pero medium nakasulat sa tag. kaya binalik ko tapos pinalitan nila with another medium size, and i fitted it there to make sure its right...

I just saw this announcement from BPI, so we account holders have basically 2 days to do all of this due to bank holiday and weekend. WTF?

    Update Client Information | BPI

have you seen this guys? seryoso ba to?

"Previously, pursuant to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Circular 706 which required financial institutions to regularly update its customer information records, BPI requested all clients to update their account information."

"If you are unable to update your account information on or before August 31, 2016, your transactions can only be serviced over-the-counter of our branches. You will not be able to access your account via any of BPI’s 24/7 electronic channels (i.e. ATM , Online and Mobile) until you have submitted your CIS and ID. "

this announcement was released last Fri, Aug 26th.

Thanks for this. How come they did not even send a text advisory regarding this? Also, they should qualify the customers who need to update their details. Does this also include customers who only opened their account this year? 3, 5 or 10 years ago?

I too, have the same questions Cathy. I am hoping na ung new Credit card ko issued 2 months ago from BPI would mean updated ang customer info ko. I am going to sit tight and see how it plays out tomorrow. I don't wanna be caught in the middle of panic tapos wala lang pala. Probably call the hotline again.

I am not sure if SM is at fault on that, tenants pay for the space in SM or any other malls to sell their product/s. IMHO
