Yes please go to the hospital na! You might get sicker if you let whatever it is go untreated.

Hate to share this, when i was younger i used to pass around a bottle of OFF as a prank...with water and little bit of sugar, ayun...mosquitos love sugar....

Yup, I think my body temp is on the higher end of the "normal" range.

Lucky you. I got it twice and was confined both instances.

Thats not true, pag mataas sobra ang fever, bath with cool to lukewarm water to bring the temp down.

Hospital na Cathy. If 3 days meron fever have yourself check na. I had dengue 3x na. No transfusion needed, the earlier the beyyer, pag pinatagal baka yun ang kailangan mag transfusion.

Besides wala ka naman choice, you'll still be ending up going to the hospital.

Why prolong it pa? Nothing is conclusive yet, how will you know if hindi ka magpatingin.

Hindi ka pagagalingin ng panahon lang.

The boss is contemplating going from 4 days on/2 days off (8-hr shifts) to 4 on/3 off (12-hr shifts).

I prefer 8-hr shifts. I've seen enough 12-hr shifts when I was younger. It sucks.

Some or most parents don't know this.

^ i think it depends on how high the fever is. If it's in the typical range, it's best to sweat it out; if we're talking 40's, you need to bring down the temperature immediately to prevent your body functions from shutting down.

A fever is a symptom, not the actual problem.

I remember that being done to me when I was too young to remember.
