How to make an offer on a property i like. Though im not willing to pay the asking price. I dont want to insult the owner but i think its way overpriced. The house i will tear down anyway and she is putting too much peso value on the fifteen year old house. But i like the location. Good for land banking. How do i offer only 80% of asking price?

Bro. Research if that is consistent with the current property pricing/selling in the area... Then make an honest offer.

You can always make adjustments later in your negotiation. 80% of the asking price is not too far off, IMO, so you could start discussion with that number.

You have to settle capital gains tax and doc stamps and transfer tax... That is a lot of middle ground to play around with...

There are really moments where I get anxious if I'll have enough savings for all that. I have a rather tight timeline and noone to share expenses with (bec. my girlfriend is a doctor-in-training).

Of course, I don't plan to loan anything except of course the home amortization, but surely there'll be those who'll bite the bullet because it'll take many years before they have the ability to pay in cash.

    Yes bro.

    Life is getting tougher.

As I was telling our kids over lunch.

Don't compare yourself with others because you will just be unhappy as there will be people who will be greater than you... and live within your means...

But banks getting into wedding loans??? And i am almost certain that people are engaging that offer....

As what bro dreamur was saying,- they find ways....

    Do not tell her bro.

That will insult her. I can feel that the fifteen year old house is her pride....

A difference of priorities. That's what you have there as your main conflict... Is the house in bad shape? I could not imagine a fifteen year old to be in that situation unless the owners abandoned it.

Its actually well maintained. Livable immediately with no issues. But i have other plans for that property if i should be so lucky as to be able to close the sale.

There's memo siyempre (more than 1 to satisfy DOLE just in case). Mabait sana yung isa kaso hindi kaya work eh. Balik sa dati, yung isa naman kups na hindi pa maganda attitudsure at perf so no brainer for me. Sa isa ako medyo napaisip nang mabuti if kaya pa ba or hindi na. In the end, mas maganda ipakita sa team na dapat performing pa rin talaga. Hindi puwede attitude lang sa work. To be fair to everybody.

It just dawned on me that I haven't been washing our vehicles frequently. I think I've washed/waxed both cars maybe 3x a year. I quit caring because of our youngest kid. Her position in the vehicle have the most dents, scratches, stains, and trash. She put a dent on the Rogue within a month of buying it. Oh well.

My eldest kid did the same thing with the Sonata when she was younger. Then, the youngest added her own later.

Reminds me of the episode in "Married With Children" where they lost their car in a car wash. It turns out Al's brown car is actually red. The brown color was just dirt.

USA vs Colombia. C'mon guys (USA). Don't try to shift the ball to a better foot. You don't need to kick the ball hard when in the penalty box. A tap with the left foot should do fine. More amateurish mistakes. Should've been 1-1 already. Sheesh.

My car is dark grey. A wash will do nothing except reveal the dents and scratches. It's easy to tell it's a workhorse. I already had the dents and scratches repaired and painted once. Then, our youngest kid put some more of her handiwork. I gave up.

Oh. I love that episode. The car key was a screwdriver. Ha Ha!
