Hahahha oo nga naman gusto ko din meron exclusive na restaurant for that. Since fav ko kambing dto lang ako nakakain sa barko ng msarap na luto since chef naming magaling mgluto. roasted kambing.if wala naman kambing lamb naman ang pamalit nya.

Same here. I've to admit though that I was once part of that group. Long ago when stoplights were still abundant along edsa. Good thing I learned early and stopped my carefree driving days.

He He. Not me. But, back in Marcos' time, I used to ride with friends and watch the drag races at Greenhills. I think my friend had a souped up Mitsu (Celeste?). Other friends had Mitsu Lancers. I guess Mitsu cars were very popular back then.

Afterwards, we'd race back to LPC because of the curfew. Once we got inside our subdivision, we were safe.

My time there was the late 70's up to the early 80's. I'm assuming "boxtype" referred to the boxtype Lancers. When I left the PH and returned here, the boxtypes were at their peak as production cars. A friend had one (his dad's), an '82 model. I recall the first thing he did was tint the windows and install a Technics HiFi cassette mini component system along with speakers.

I kinda wished I didn't leave because I was starting to have some fun.
