You could roam around and see if there are vacant or soon to be vacant rooms (kung mukhang paalis na ang occupants). Then you ask admissions kung pwede mong kunin yung room na yun.

That's what my mother does kapag sa ward kami napupunta due to lack of rooms.

ask your physician, po. tell your doctor that you "prefer a smaller room".. he should get the message, and act accordingly.

Im having a operation on tuesday, hoping there is a vacant private room available. As far as i know the hospital bill depends on the room you occupy.

i mean, they do not have to come out with new directives to address the purported concerns of that vintage car order. they have to just apply current rules evenly, to all motor vehicles. especially public utility vehicles.
That's actually my beef with these people in the government.

They do not have the balls (or the political will) to implement what's in the law,- that is, if there is one indeed affecting the vintage cars,- emission, vintage etc., generally being roadworthy. The fear of being "unpopular", and that is why,- they are not decisive in implementing the rules.

A speedy recovery to you, bro. Is it major surgery? Sorry, you don't need to answer that.

The PF is always directly proportionate to the patient room which takes the bulk of the hospital bill.

the physician dictates the PF, which he roughly associates with the room rate.
but physicians are also human, po. we can always ask for discount. shame on the physician who does not give even a bit of discount.

    ganyan talaga ang buhay..
some physicians will charge as if they were the only one on the planet who could do the surgery...
some patients act as if they lived under the bridge, when in fact, they owned the bridge...

I don't know if this still happens but when my Dad got hospitalized (90s) his doctors didn't charge PF. We also got a huge discount in the bill because my Mom is good friends with the nuns that run the hospital. But now I think they don't run it anymore. Kaya hiyang hiya parents ko because we didn't even ask for discount. Hindi ka naman makabawi sa regalo lang. Really can't blame me bakit ang taas ng tingin ko sa mga doctor. My Dad wanted me to be a doctor pero that's one instance hindi ko kaya pagbigyan Dad ko. I don't have the heart and strength to be one.

Unfortunately yung younger generation dami ko naririnig that are in it only for the money and so many unethical practices But then we also had doctors in the past that got caught in political scandals just now (my dad's cardiologist and my two opthas) I really cannot imagine how they got involved. Maybe stay away from PEP patients? Hehe

Im kinda embarrass to ask for a discount. I met him in his uncle's wake, the uncle was a mentor and most of the family are close friends. Pag binigyan big thanks, if not, its still ok.

Go to Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor sa Ongpin St, Fu Yung Mansion. Dr Tan ang name. Dont tell him your exact problem na gallbladder. If he ask kung ano problem sabihin mo masakit tiyan and he will feel your pulse and check your tongue. Minsan he will not ask you and just feel your pulse directly. He is not perfect pero halos 90% malalaman nya sakit mo. Yung anak nya marunong magtagalog explain TCM 5000years history of healing and treating disease as a whole.

Tiyatiyagain mo lang kasi you will boil herbs. Better go there around 5:30 pm to 6:30pm.

Low profile si dr tan of ongpin. No ads, no contact number, no secretary. Word of mouth lang.

When i went there meron ako nakausap na dapat na sya operahan sa thyroid or something sa neck. Nakabayad na sya sa hospital. Pero nung nalaman nya about dr tan eh try nya before operation kung ano mangyayari.

Kaya we thank him for that hindi mukhang kwarta na opera agad.
