we had something like that before.
the accountant explained that they had somehow under-taxed (witholding tax) the employee, and that this was the way they were making up for the deficiency. we did not dig much deeper into it anymore.

we can only complain if we feel we were being paid less than what was agreed upon. we can not complain if someone was getting more than what we think is due the someone, because we are not privy to their arrangement with the boss.

Yup. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't notice. I don't check my payslip and compute my OT. Basta I know I'm paid more than my regular when I do OT . Anyway I stopped charging OT now.

back when we lined up at the cashier's office for our salaries, we would count our money down to the peso.
today, our salary goes directly to the bank. we now line up at the ATM, to see if the money had already been deposited. but it would be very very difficult to check the amount down to the last peso...
the payslip? now, where did i misplace it, for the nth time...?
    heh heh.

That is to capture the tax impact for an out of cycle pay. For example, you get a cash reimbursement through petty cash or a cash allowance for cellphone or gasoline that you were paid in cash. These are taxable so should be reflected in the payroll system to be captured in your YTD income. The corresponding deduction is to ensure you did not get paid twice.

If DU30 wins, this will not definitely happen!

    Ha ha ha!

When Argentina first came out my friend told me it was good because factory workers stomped on it with sweaty feet or dirty boots. That didn't stop me from eating Argentina until I got sawa. I tried it again after several years only.

There are also food that are lasang ipis though I never tasted ipis yet hehe

Even dogs love delimondo. Haha. My fat lab's vet fed her delimondo liver spread when she got sick a few years ago. I'm not so much a fan of Delimondo, it's still Palm chili for me

They should sell Japanese Kei cars in other countries and not just in Japan. Specially the Honda S660.
