My kid bought me a Blu Ray, "The Hobbit 3." The wife bought me a new rake, pruning shears, hand shears, weed killer sprayer, and extra large plastic bags. I didn't ask for them. So, I guess she's trying to tell me something.

That's one thing I miss about New York state. Once it snows, all yard work is put aside until spring next year. Here in Arizona, it snows maybe once every 3-4 years. Yard work is year-round.

Thinking about the Nevada Triangle where over 2000 planes have either crashed or disappeared. I never heard of it until after watching a Netflix documentary on it. I am familiar with the weird weather that sometimes occur in it though. Much of Highway 95 passes through it.

    she's taking up gardening!
and she wants to break it to you gently... hence all the "surprise" purchases, supposedly for you...

I read somewhere that she is using BPI credit card for her online purchases because of more favorable forex....

It's HSBC. But I do rarely use it. Sometimes once or twice a year lang.

Yung BPI ko I use monthly for my online purchases and gas. I asked them to decrease my credit limit so I have lower risk in case my CC is hacked but they still regularly increase my credit limit. Mas napapagastos tuloy ako sa online purchases ko

I like BPI, so far I never had any problems with them. Yung HSBC puro problema kaya iwas din ako sa gamit. Yung Citibank naman ayaw ako i waive ng AF, when I bluffed na ipapaputol ko, aba pinutol nga! hahaha!

Oh kaya pala. I avoid calling customer service as much as possible kasi iinit lang ulo ko I really HATE how banks outsourced their customer service because most of the time these people have no idea about what they are talking about! When I was fresh out of college, customer service was a job for senior employees or officers. Ngayon 500k ANNUAL income pwede na gold card. Nung 80s/90s high net worth clients lang nabibigyan ng gold/platinum. Sabi nga ng friend ko ngayon pati basurero bibibigyan ng credit card.

AFAIK Local banks that issues CC still uses their own staff for CSR concerns.

Kay esmi naman panay increase ng credit limit with BPI, natakot na nga siya pinabawasan niya. Dami niya officemates with fraudulent transactions sa mga BPI CC nila.

Kahit na rereverse naman yung transaction, hassle pa din diba? And what if hindi ma reverse? Mas trouble yun.

    Easy approval for CC issuance?

    Gumaganda ang ekonomiya!

Had to entertain some friends and went to a couple of clubs the other night. I must teach my kids to hold alcohol well when they start going out as other really make fools of themselves when they drink a lot too many.
