The 2012 Genesis R-Spec sedan does have 52k miles. That may seem a lot. But then, my thought process went into high gear. I figured:
1. Who would normally buy a Hyundai in the 50k price range? Enthusiasts? Nope. They would never associate Hyundai with the likes of a BMW or a Benz.
2. Boy racers? Nope. They wouldn't be able to afford it, at least not around here.
3. That leave the grandpas who are sedentary drivers. They probably never left town or even went above 40 mph. Those miles are probably low-speed miles which means there's a high chance that V8 engine has never really been stressed.
That's one thing about lousy depreciation. It's great if you're the one buying. I was tempted to buy the thing right there (I'm pre-approved by my bank for $50k and below) and bring it home. But, you know. The wife would kill me.![]()
Full-speced cars are are still significantly cheaper than stripped-down versions here. Deym!
52K miles is 83KKm... Just the right mileage (especially when you are in the US) for a 3-year old baby.
Agree with your caution,- and if you still understand the language,- "mahirap mapundi ang ilaw ng tahanan"... yari tayo riyan bro.

The more I looked up the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec, the more I liked it. It's mainly a highway cruiser which is what I need for road trips up north.
It's the performance numbers that got me. It'll go toe to toe with both Evo and WRX in the 0-60mph run and leave both behind in the 1/4 mile. Maybe I should've bought the car after all.
Sure the gas mileage sucks. But, I don't really give a crap about filling up and it takes 87 octane.
My fur babies dr has become too successful and lost his personal touch to his patients. I wonder if he cares for my fur babies as much as he did before![]()
Thinking of a long lost friend while looking at the moon in the sky tonight... That's our pact when we parted ways years ago. I hope she's doing the same.
God, keep her and her loved ones till we meet again...
Why my Mom and all her sisters don't like dogs! My Dad, brother and I love dogs and my Mom is always complaining
Prepping for the 800-mile road trip up north. We're planning to leave at midnight. I should be taking a nap. But, relatives up north keep calling here, asking if we already left. Grrrr.
We'll arrive in Las Vegas right around morning rush hour. That's going to suck. Then, we continue north another six hours.
Prepping for earthquake and other natural disasters . Bought 8 grab bags and stuffed it with power bars, buscuits, water, first aid, clothes, batteries etc.
Browsing my FB feed, saw one batchmate from college who is a certified:
Total douche
user and pusher of illegal substance
Violent fratman (no offense sa mga fratguys)
Is now a police officer. Yes he is.
Reading his posts mukhang nothing has changed.
Man we're doomed na talaga.

If my dax will surviveI can't even look at her now. She won't eat or take her medicines anymore
I don't think my fat lab is aware of what is happening to her friend

True but gotta prepare for my young ones. Dont think there will be cel coverage or police or disaster relief in the first 24-48 hours as even the emergency crews have to take care of their own families. Have to have enough for 72 hours. I put a backpack in each car and there are a few easily accessible ones in the garage.
