Made me thinking about this chinese doctor who said that to live longer, just rest and not to do any stressful exercise.
Dunno what the official diagnosis was, but when I told my girlfriend about what happened, she suspects hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. In other words, the heart was brittle and was pushed too much and gave up.

Apparently not all athletes have large, healthy hearts. Some of them have underlying conditions that, when coupled with strenuous exercise, could overload the heart and cause it to fail.

Etong officemate ko, napagsabihan na pala ng doktor na magbawas sa physical activities cuz he was at risk. But he was too sporty...

That's what happened also to a JRU HS basketball star JC Servillon, who suddenly collapsed while playing basketball in a Fil Oil league, during the summer break. He's only 17yo.

    Heart problem din ang cause.

i was surprised to see my elementary classmate quit competitive level cycling. i asked why and he said his doctor advised him to stop or you'll end up one day lying dead on the road due to heart failure.
though he's in mid 40s yet fit, walang bisyo.

I was into sports like crazy when I was younger,- but now I "mellowed down" to just brisk walking and biking,- around the village only, and occasional half-court(only) basketball.

Also, "you are what you eat"....

BTT: Last night, as I was waiting for wifey to get some stuffs from a local store,- I noticed a few bikers who were sweating it out along BF Resort.... Good for them to get that exercise,- but they should not strain themselves too much...

Also, high impact exercise is out for me, by choice.

I don't scrimmage as much in basketball or indoor soccer. But, I still do cardio machines and I still juggle a soccer ball. Juggling the ball via both thighs and both insteps is almost like jogging. A couple minutes in (out of 15 minutes) and I already have a pool of sweat under my feet.

I am thinking... what could be the rationale behind including the "no. of posts" made by a "tsikoteer" in his/her displayed profile? Isn't deceiving because most of these "tsikoteers with great no. of posts made" created/posted in topics, which are mostly NON-TSIKOT RELATED?

Deceiving because, when I was a newbie (or still I am), I had this impression that those persons are the ones "more knowledgeable" and/or "primary contributors" to tsikot-related issues.. It would appear that such impression is now inaccurate =(

Wala naman mentioned na those with most numbers of posts are "more knowledgable" ikaw lang nag assume nun. Why feel deceived?

On my part never did I have the notion same as yours.

    Tsikot is a community.

And try to visit the specific car threads, dun mo makikita mga knowledgable gaya ng sinasabi mo.

Some posters dun bihira ko makita dito sa pitstop threads.

Hindi rin ganun kadami posts nila since dun lang sila dedicated.

JJ hwag mo nang isipin yan....he he.
Hindi naman lahat ng threads car related. Di porket tsikoteer e maalam sa kotse. Kaya nga may threads na non-car related e. At masaya sa mga threads na yan. Kaya madami nagpo- post dyan.

^Halos lahat naman ata ng forum nakadisplay yung total number of posts. Or at least sa mga pinupuntahan o sinasalihan ko.

yes JJ chill. you don't have to be a master about cars to post in threads like: "what are your ***ual turn-ons?", "men's under wear," "what are you thinking about?," etc. know what, i started posting here on jan. 3, 2015, that is, as of today, 180 days hence, and I logged in 1,395 posts already. that is 7.75 posts per day. i just hope i did not deceive you because I know nothing about cars. as what CNS said, this is a community. so enjoy and be happy 😆
