Hey... I don't like Jollibee... except for their Palabok... their Spaghetti and Burgers are really just too greasy for my tastes... at least Palabok is supposed to be that way...

But I admire what the man has done with his company.

RE: Selecta: I remember when the started popularizing this in the early 90's / late 80's... we'd walk six or seven blocks from school to buy it from a house in the village outside. Andami pang teachers na nagpapabili. Grabeng competitive yung taste nila sa mga ibang ice creams.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The old Selecta ice cream was different, kasi gatas ng kalabaw yata ang gamit nila noon. Unique ang flavor kung pang ice cream. Pero parang hindi na yata yun ang gamit ngayon. Sayang.
And that's the reason why kesong puti is also unique. I'm waiting for some pizza parlor to offer it instead of using mozzarella. Maybe they should conduct a comparative taste survey. They are both buffallo cheeses. Yung mozzarella although may consistency sa nguya, wala masyadong flavor kumpara sa kesong puti. Yung kesong puti, masarap pero hindi nagme-melt. Ano kaya?
Ito na lang: Hot pandesal with fried kesong puti - always good and pinoy na pinoy!:2thumbsup:

Or you always thought owned by foreign skin.

    On Fast Food:

    Yellow Cab
    Go Nuts Donuts
    Jollibee
I always thought that Yellow Cab is wholly owned by a foreign firm. Perhaps chowking can compete with other chinese fast food firms.

Godiva Skin Care Products (licorice based). They ship outside the Philippines na :-)

Their face powder is very good and priced reasonably well for the Pinay.
